It would appear that the Feeling have fallen out of the top 300 so all hope is completely dead now. Look forward to seeing them on POG Friday though and the video for SMWOF. However glad for Wynter, Alexandra, Olly and Blue doing well :D

Bit O/T but what isn't the last page or so - I have NEVER got why Kat DeLuna hasn't made it big yet! She's just got to be the most baffling flop artist of all time for me. She has all the right elements, she just flops terribly everywhere :( Well, obviously I don't think she's as good as the likes of Gaga, Rihanna etc. who I loon over (I prefer Wynter Gordon to her as well :kink:) but she does have some great songs and I really enjoyed her 2 albums (the second of which was so sucsessful it had to be contained in Belgium - no other country could handle the riots outside HMV to get Kat DeLuna's new album). She's just as good the few acts Rich mentioned (all of whom I have a soft spot for actually) and though they're flopping now, they all had sucsess once. Maybe Kat's sucsessful era has yet to come? (hopeful I know!)

Eric, that sounds Exactly like Poker face and it kinda begins at the same tune aswell.

And the bridge before the chorous she goes "oh" and is like the exact oh's in Pokerface :o

Beyonce - Single Ladies - 8 - This song is legendary!!

Lady Gaga/Colby O'Donnis - Just Dance - 4

Kelly Clarkson - My Life Would Suck Without You - 8

Eminem/Dr. Dre/50 Cent - Crack a Bottle - 6 - Love the artists, the song, not so much, although I was really hyped for it when it first came out

Flo Rida - Right Round - 8 - Catchiest song ever.

Lady Gaga - Poker Face - 2 - I've aired my views on this song enough I think.

Black Eyed Peas - Boom Boom Pow - 9 - Was like "WTF" when I first heard this, but I loved it after a couple of months.

Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling - 7

Jay Sean/Lil Wayne - Down - 4 - Yes, I know he's British, but I found this song really boring and generic tbh.

Britney Spears - 3 - 7 - This song caused such a stir with my friends. The lyrics and the orgasm noises got the song a lot of attention from all the guys in my year!

Owl City - Fireflies - 7

Jason Derulo - Whatcha Say - 9 - Like Right Round, catchiest song ever.

Jay-Z/Alicia Keys - Empire State of Mind - 6

I find it disgraceful Miley Cyrus never got to number one when she was topped the digital charts for 4weeks and kept getting a peak at 2 :( She sold over 240k one week aswell and always remained above 200k :(

It was great - featuring the queens of flops Keri and Nicole  (well at least until Nicole somehow made it big here!). Wynter Gordon (aka budget Keri Hilson - imagine that!) was then promoted to the queen of flops title but even she's having hits these days, so it looks as if Kat DeLuna is on her own now :drama: I would lump the likes of Ciara, Amerie and Cassie in but at least they all managed big hits at one time or another!
Haha. I'm surprised Keri and Wynter managed to get hits without support from Radio 1 in all honesty. POOR BRAVE KAT DELUNA! :( I've been a fan ever since I heard 'Whine Up' being used on WWE's Summerslam PPV, back in 2007. LOL at the others you named. Ciara may have had one or two hits, but I don't think many people actually remember them... so she counts. Amerie. 'Gotta Work' is a TUNE! But Cassie has 'Me & You' as her biggest hit, but she has better in 'Long Way 2 Go' and 'Is It You' both flopped horribly!

Bringing the conversation round back to Poker Face (I don't know why I'm doing this ), but Kat DeLuna has a song that sounds EXACTLY like it (I think).

Exactly the same! :o It has those sound effects that sound like water dripping and echoing. It has those other sound effects from Poker Face that sound like a whirlwind, and those other sound effects from Poker Face (and they're also in Just Dance and Judas), that sound kind of surprising (sorry, I don't know how to describe them :().

Not to mention, along with those three sound effects, the beat in general sounds similar, and she goes "oh, oh oh oh" in a similar way to how Lady Gaga does it in Poker Face.

Isn't Kat DeLuna one of RedOne's own artist? Didn't he find her or whatever? Well she was using the RedOne sound before GaGa was, at least. so it doesn't surprise me, tbh. We all know RedOne likes to recycle beats every now and again.

Also, some/most of J Lo's new album could easily have been recorded by Kat. I to, don't get why she hasn't quite made it yet. She nearly did with 'Run the Show', but that stalled just outside the top 40! :drama:

Bass Down Low is doing well :(

In other news BEYONCE Is doing T IN THE PARK !!!

Wow, Beyonce headlining Glasto AND doing T In The Park? :o Sooooo jel of anyone who's going to either! <_< Line-up looks great for T and Glasto is shaping up well. Coverage on the telly will have to do!
HOW on EARTH in the last 2 hours DG got 15% lead over LMFAO??? wow... OK, I guess the number 1 in Sunday will be his... the lead will only gets bigger...

Even worse, it actually topped the digital charts for 6 weeks and missed #1 officially every single time! :o It had 2 runs at #1, with I Gotta Feeling and Empire State of Mind getting #1 inbetween. It's also weird that ESOM topped the digital chart like 2 months before it topped the official chart.

Right Round's first-week sales are :o!

Yeah Liam - I'm going to see her at Titp! Along with Coldplay,FooFighters,BrunoMars,TinieTempah and Of course The Saturdays and so much more! Ahhh can't wait now.

I'm so much more bitter now :( Party In The usa has sold over 4.5m(US ALONE) yet somehow did not manage to get number one in the usa because of airplay. UHHHHHHHH! The song actually did decent here despite the #11 peak sold 180k+ Behind The Climb which sold over 250k!!.. she missed out the top 10 in uk by less than 100 copies :( she's quite unlucky!

Indeed. It's a really good song aswell, and it's quite radio friendly, and it lost out to I Gotta Feeling and Down. Perhaps Miley Cyrus isn't seen as credible enough for some radio stations or something? :( Plus, I loved the song, if only for the Britney and Jay-Z references! :D

I'm so jel Lee! I wanted to go to Glastonbury (I'm in Bristol so TITP is a bit far) as it's near to me but my mum went too late for tickets :( And the whole Miley situation was SO irritating, PITU should have been a huge multi-week US number 1 and at least a top 5 hit here! Same with Can't Be Tamed - looked likely to be her first top 10 when was top 5 on iTunes after her BGT performance, but fell and peaked at 13 (the boost was late in the week anyway, so she really would've needed to stay there or get higher). Luckily Selena Gomez broke the Disney solo curse by getting a top 10!

Fergie used to be in Disney, and she got into the top 10 too (albeit many, many years after she finished on Disney, but still ).

Awwwwwwwwww. She grew up to be a star.

Yeah it really is radio friendly and her radio peak was 7 i believe! I'll double check later. If a track is dominating the digital charts so much she really should have had increased airplay! That's what I don't like about the Usa charts. Would have you preferred a Fergie refrence instead of Britney?

I'm sitting here so excited on who to see and it's been announced there's more big artists to be announced! Scary thing is she's not even headlining Titp and is a replacement for Blink 182! Party In The usa really did deserve Number one and such a better way peak her opening sales were like 33k+ but was released during xfactor time - damn it always coming in with her tour. CBT Did awful here someone because of the radio snub! Peaked at number 3 on Itunes then freefralled after Bgt performance!

Yeah, it seemed quite unfair tbh.

I think Britney was more appropriate for the song. She's like a full-on icon there. Fergie is big, but as a solo artist, she had one massive era for a few years (I think she had 4 #1s from her album!?! :o), but that's it really. Britney is like more ingrained in the culture, if you know what I mean. Same with Jay-Z. He's like an American rap legend.

474. Super Bass - Nicki Minaj

Was 700-something last time I checked! Hopefully the video premier tomorrow will boost it into the top 100! :D

Jessie is top 10 :w00t:  :cheer:

Better late than never. :yahoo:
