May 13, 201114 yr Thanks for compiling Sabrina! Great for Blue considering they haven't even performed yet! Sweden as usual trounce everyone in the Eurovision-looning stakes  No Amaury Vassili, but as well as it does in the contest, I guess it's not really the sort of thing many people will download...it will be a very different demographic that vote for him.
May 13, 201114 yr Oh my God! Jedward actually doing WELL  They really are going to finish second aren't they? EDIT: They're even beating ERIC in SWEDEN'S OWN iTunes!

EDIT: They're even beating ERIC in SWEDEN'S OWN iTunes! In FAIRNESS it has already been number one for four weeks there. There probably aren't that many people left who aren't already aware of its existence in Sweden.

Your Welcome  If you look on twitter.. Sweden still have Eurovision, Eric Saade & Ireland trending nearly 24 hours after the Semi Final
May 13, 201114 yr I wonder if France is being a tad overrated...will enough people in Europe get the operatic style? I'm not sure if a song like it has won in recent years.... The closest to Sognu I can think of is Molitva.....and they're not really similar.
May 13, 201114 yr Any plans I had to emigrate to Sweden have been temporarily halted :drama: ...but Jedward's performance was excellent. It's just a shame Jedward get all the credit for the backing singers who did all the hard work. They're like a live "Mini Vanilli" :drama: Hope one of the backing singer chokes on her own vocals tomorrow night. Serves Jedward right for fooling Europe.

The backing singers on their own aren't great. It sounds good when they're all singing at the same time though, weirdly enough! Edited May 13, 201114 yr by Cal
May 13, 201114 yr Jedward update. :yahoo: #1/#16 in Ireland #7/#34 in Sweden #35/#77 in Austria #39/#89 in Germany #57 in Finland #85/#180 in Norway #91 in the UK #106 in Denmark #127 in Belgium
May 13, 201114 yr The backing vocalists ruined their performance for me :( There was this one woman who kept harmonising the 'collar, collar' part in the chorus really loudly. I was just thinking 'Shut..The F**k..Up' the whole way through!
May 13, 201114 yr I was hoping the Germans had hired the Spanish to build the stage and that it would fall to bits and kill Jedward.
May 14, 201114 yr Blue 'I Can' update - Ireland #55 Germany #36 :cheer: Belguim #127 Sweden #23 :cheer: Norway #76 Switzerland #76

May 14, 201114 yr Blue - I Can [united Kingdom]25 Sweden 27 United Kingdom 33 Germany 48 Switzerland 53 Ireland 74 Norway 102 United Kingdom 128 Belgium :w00t: Very decent showing for the UK considering have yet to perform - Jedward and Eric Saade are both doing well but of course they have had the boost of a semi performance and :o at France not getting behind their ESC entry - #90 and its the favourite
May 14, 201114 yr Blue #25/#98 in the UK pre-contest, should be in a prime position to climb into the top ten or thereabouts on iTunes even if they don't do well... Josh's performance did precious little for him on iTunes last year, whilst Jade was about #90-ish or so before vaulting to just outside the top ten on iTunes in 2009. Still not sure who else will do well on iTunes over the next few days - the winner will (yes, even if it's France), Eric Saade, Kati Wolf, Ell & Nikki, A Friend In London and lets face it - Jedward are getting their second official top 40 hit with ease next week.
