Yes, I'm wrong about something that will or will not happen in the future.

All I'm saying is that if Beyonce, GaGa etc plummet due to lack of promotion (whether performing slots, video play, radio play), the Saturdays don't stand a chance. Yes, they have a video on their side and initially I thought it could hold up but with their fanbase already buying it this week and it already gaining a lot of video play, I doubt it will improve this week's chart peak.

We'll see if Radio 1 jump on it this evening.

Those acts fell becuase of a lack of promotion but The Saturdays will be promoting it and with it being added to radio it will most likely have a long chart run like most of their songs do.

Are the Sats climbing again?

Wow. Good to see some more British talent doing well overseas!! :D

I really hope J-Lo or Dev can get top 10 soon. I'd prefer Dev to, because I think she needs it more.

Love the Way You Lie up to #50. I hope it can become a hit.

Any reason you've only included a few of them?

Any reason you've only included a few of them?
Because they were the ones that was on Lee Wallace's list last night, so I assumed they were the only ones :P (Well recently available for 59p anyway - Not sure if songs go back up after the 59p stint is over or whatever )

Those were the only good ones (A) The rest were mostly old.

Superbass that high already :o:o

Judas #11 combined 27.3%

Born This Way #19 combined 18.2%

Edge of Glory #20 combined 17.1%

Mr. Saxobeat up to #4 now. I can see it getting top #2 tbh. The top 10 effect is really helping it. I could see it doing similar to Bass Down Low if it gets in (I'm sure people will see the words "Tinie Tempah remix" and check the song out ).

Nothing that's not fontloaded will get to #1 in ages though. Pitbull is miles ahead of everything else. I can see him selling 90,000 this week tbh.

Amazing to see Alexandra Stan do so well. The top ten effect really helps people, I'm sure Pitbull climbed fast once it hit top ten (maybe why it went 12-4-1). Next victim is LMFAO, ugh, if only Bruno Mars wasn't there then the top 3 would be the best I've seen in a long time
The top 3 is awful! Can't believe they all reached #1, the majority of this year's #1s have been dire.

I promise you if Bass Down Low gets top 10 I will hunt every person who has purchased this song down.

Then i will exact revenge for helping such an awful song get high. You will be endured with 5hours of Jls - The Club is Alive, 5hours of Eliza Dolittle - Pack Up, 5 hours of Jedward and 3minutes of Notorious from Saturdays to show im a decent, warm-hearted guy.

The last really good top 3 I've seen was probably Party Rock Anthem/On the Floor/E.T.

I think the best top 3 from last year were the Airplanes/We No Speak Americano/Love the Way You Lie. Granted, 2 of the songs sounded the same, we haven't had any top 3's so far this year where all 3 songs were THAT massive.

I'd be able to tolerate JLS and Jedward tbh. If you want to torture me you'd have to play Poker Face, Forget You and Grenade.

EDIT: Actually, come to think of it. I think the weeks where the top 3 were Someone Like You/Price Tag/S&M probably comes close to the Airplanes/We No Speak Americano/Love the Way You Lie weeks in terms of the "hugeness" of the songs. Although I think it's a lot poorer musically. Someone Like You is basically the piano version of Love the Way You Lie but faster, B.o.B's raps on Airplanes are better and more meaningful than his rap on Price Tag, and We No Speak Americano is a club anthem, while S&M is an average dance-pop song.

Pack Up is a good song. Why has it suddenly become so hated on BJ?

Ignore, I misread your post

British female solo artists aren't well liked on here (Katy B, Cheryl Cole, Jessie J etc.) exceptions of course are Adele, plus all the artists I mentioned have some fans but many dislike them.

I've never really seen any hate for it tbh.

If anything, that's the problem. Such an utterly insignificant song. I'm still baffled at how it got to #1 on the radio airplay chart, yet the only time I heard it on the radio was in the chart show!!

In real life, I literally never talked to anybody about the song. And I was seeing hundreds of music-obsessed teenagers on a daily basis at the time! Did anybody under the age of 65 actually like the song? Then again, the song it samples dates back to the stone age or something. :drama:

A song I heard like 5 times in the year. Which I never heard anybody talk about. Which I never heard on the radio. Which simply wasn't even that good anyway. And #25 in the year-end chart? What a joke! People always say "Oh you'll forget all these songs in 6 months time", but with Pack Up, nobody seemed to even know it in the first place!

Sorry if anybody reading is a Pack Up fan btw. It's not that bad a song imo. There was much worse in 2010.

If I added them on, they'd be "Top 4"s. But you're right, both those top 4's were full of huge hits! :o If I'm bored I might look back through and try and find the top 3s with the most insignificant songs in.
