June 3, 201115 yr Nice to see a band care about artistry and not just a collection of songs randomly thrown together... Eh. Sure, it's a different approach and a moderately clever marketing gimmick (lord knows they need one) but I really hate shite like this.
June 3, 201115 yr Is this getting a physical release? :( There will be a 13 track album released at some point.
June 4, 201115 yr If the song I just listened to on Soundcloud is actually this, then I'm afraid that this is possibly their worst single. :( (am on my iPhone so alot of YouTube videos don't work) It just seems to plod along and never kick in properly, Kaiser Cheifs really are about their memorable choruses...Ruby, I Predict A Riot, Everyday I Love You Less And Less, Never Miss A Beat, I could go on...but this one just isn't up to much. :( Shame, I love most of their singles apart from the follow up to Never Miss A Beat... (can't remember what it was called :P) They brought a fun side to landfill indie IMO, don't get me wrong their singles aren't ever AMAZING, but - for me anyway - they have stood the test of time compared to alot of landfill anthems of the time, and I just feel that I'll forget about this one in a month or 2. :( The album contept sounds interesting and quite exciting though, hopefully this single isn't representative of the whole album! :P
June 8, 201115 yr I really like the song! The concept of the album release doesn't do them any favour though imo as they are, and always have been, very singles driven Edited June 8, 201115 yr by SKOB
June 26, 201115 yr They look predictably great at Glasto - drawing a huge crowd despite being up against the equally superb live Pendulum.
June 26, 201115 yr They do indeed! I saw them live years ago, and although I can't remember much of it, it was pretty incredible, and they look like such crowd pleasers too; I'd like to hear some stuff off their new album though, as I've not decided whether to buy it yet.
