Coldplay are dropping now, Expect them to drop to 5 on iTunes tonight, althought they're quite far ahead of 6th.

Anway unless Nicole falls dramatically which I doubt will happen and she's got promo on Friday... Right There will be a climber to #03 this week

I hope not, I want Alexandra Stan to occupy the #3 spot

I doubt it'll have much effect to be honest :(

Bass Down Low will probably be one of those really good songs that linger around #11 - #15 for ages on iTunes and never go top ten. :( (like What If, Your Love Is My Drug, Take It Off, Cry Me Out, Memories, The Climb, etc)

Here we go

Guilt #41 and #94

Me and You #106

Have use heard nicola roberts New 1, Porcelain Heart. Omg its so much better than beat of my drum!

3 Coldplay Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall 38.7%

4 Alexandra Stan Mr Saxobeat (UK Radio Edit) 36.8%

5 Nicole Scherzinger Right There 36.1%

Nicole has gained so fast.. and combined she's 40.3% So i think Nicole's looking likely of getting 3rd this week. Delighted.

Everyone expected Right There, Don't Hold Your Breath, Poison to flop, yet she's looking likely of producing 3 top 3 singles from a top 10 album !

Don't forget the amount of promotion she has had with them 3 singles......^

She appeared on X Factor for Poison, Britain's Got Talent finale for Right There and who knows what promote Don't Hold Your Breath got.

Being realistic here, without the BGT, Right There was lingering at #13-20 up and down up and down. BGT really gave it a good boost.

^ Its not really relevant, its still doing well, artists are meant to promote their material..he's not denying promo helps.

DHYB was performed on Dancing on Ice.

If anything her album should be doing so much better, she hasnt got a huge fanbase..

Don't Hold Your Breath was performed on like 12 TV programmes.

But that's right. She's just promoting it. Someone Like You probably would've been hanging around low top 100 for the past few months if Adele hadn't performed it. And the same can go for many other songs.

Hence why I want Mr Saxobeat to be #3 more than Right There because I favour it more and Alexandra Stan hasn't performed it in the UK I don't believe.

Exactly Eric, most songs are promoted across TV shows/Radio shows no matter how big, and if some artists can get those big slot performances, who would turn them down? Doesnt get in the way of the fact the song is selling and doing well, any song can be performed on a big show but not all will always do well, it needs TV and Radio support too, which in the case of Right There she does have that support, like her last singles, the promo and airplay/tv play must both be strong.

Why would that be a factor in why you want a song to be higher in the chart because it hasnt been performed in the country? Ok, fair enough if you prefer the song or the artist but because it hasnt been promoted is a very strange reason for wanting a song to do better then over a song which hasnt been promoted.

Promotion only helps a song that was destined to be a hit to be that little bit bigger in most cases, look at Avril Lavigne's Smile, it barely did anything at all for the song! An extra 1000 or so sales perhaps from an audience of 10 million or so! No amount of promotion will get a song that nobody likes very far...

Usually it's just about raising awareness of a song that people might have bought later on down the line when they eventually got round to hearing it...Right There would have likely climbed into the top ten regardless, it was still growing on airplay/TV.

Anyone reckon any of tonight's songs on Glee could chart?

No :( Only Back To Black is any good imo, besides that a dire ep musically... Pure Imagination was boring, My Man was a bit OTT and Some People was the usual Kurt crap. Some corkers coming up for the finale though, including what is my fave Glee song atm!

So because Nicole is promoting her single she dosen't deserve to be at number 3? Anyway I think she's gauranteed number 3 this week as she has two versions combined & physicals this week. Nicole really works hard to get where she is Imo, not many artists promote who are big names. I'm delighted she's been on Bgt and I hope she appears on Loose Women, This morning throughout this week and appearing on Graham Norton will be the final push. Shes somehow gaining on Pitbull and I would love her to get a number 2 hit with Right There. As she would have a 1,2,3 hit with one album! Anyway regardless that she's had great promotion the songs have performed well.

How many more confirmed promotions does Nicole have in the UK in the future?
