I think some people think Adele's songs are better than they are just because of how good she is at singing. If she sang (and looked) like Katy Perry she would've not sold anywhere near as much.

But Rolling in the Deep is amazing imo.

Rolling In The Deep is still amazing, but I got bored of Someone Like You quite quickly, and if I ever hear MYFML it'll be too soon.
I had no idea that was Billie Piper :(

Nah, can't see it. E.T has sold a scary amount this year (didn't she sell 300K for four weeks straight)?

I think it might, because Rolling in the Deep is #3 at the moment, and I remember Born This Way was #3 before, and wasn't far behind E.T., which means Rolling in the Deep probably isn't far behind E.T. now, and it's still #1 on iTunes, whilst E.T. is out of the top 10.

I don't mind how it turns out though really. Both are great songs.

E.T. has sold 3.678m, RITD has sold 3.219m. Not a huge difference, Adele will easily pass that I reckon. (I think both figures have some 2010 in them as well though - E.T. would have more 2010 sales than RITD though which makes the difference even easier to overcome for her)

DSTP at #30 - wonder if this'll be their first top-40-but-not-top-11 hit since Request + Line? :o

Dear Broadcasters of TV:

STOP using this song on every darn programme you air!!!!

The Los Angeles-based hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas has made a name for itself by taking an eclectic and organic approach to rap, R&B, and funk. Led by vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Will.I.Am., the band also includes two other MCs, Apl.de.Ap. and Taboo, along with vocalist Fergie, and a live backing band. Building a steady buzz with its first two releases, Black Eyed Peas garnered mainstream attention with the 2003 album, ELEPHUNK, which launched Fergie's solo career and helped make Will.I.Am one of the most in-demand producers in hip-hop, pop, and R&B for several years to come. - HMV

Nah. I think their songs are great, so I can see why people buy them.

I think this'll miss top 10 though, like Rock That Body. :(

Ugh! Don't Stop The Party :puke2:
lol X Factor is coming up

:(

anyway, DSTP is an utter mess- I really hope this misses the top 10, seriously, what has happened to them?! its like they feel they can just release any old turd and still get a hit...and sadly, people still buy it :(

Nope, lies :)

I think the follow-up singles from this BEP album are of good quality. 'The Time' was a HUGE miss though. Another factor is that the album is quite weak and very weak, compared to their previous albums, including stuff I heard from 'Behind the Front'.
:(

You mean you don't like it, so you can't understand how anybody else does?

I think all their singles from this album have been amazing.

And people don't release anything they buy. Imma Be even missed the top 40.
