To be honest, I think her being a guest judge on the X Factor for a few weeks was what really kicked it off.

I agree. Good PR and connections on her part. Not surprisingly she's having sucess and media exposure. Still, her musical career is nothing to write home about. Her sales are mediocre and her peaks are expected given the amount of promotion.

OH WOW. Best update in a while! So pleased CKB has managed to stabilise after only just a week inside the top 10! (pointless peak if it only had a week, imo!) Come on 'Super Bass' you can do it! :D

Oh wow! That's fantastic!!! :D It's a really good song. I hope it climbs further. It peaked at #27 on iTunes, but it missed the top 40 because it was released on a Monday (due to being an album track). :(

It got to something like 46, really unlucky, a bit like look at me now, got really high on itunes and was incredibly unlucky to miss top 40

With Liv Tonight it was understandable, since it only had 6 days of sales, but the week that Look At Me Now peaked, it had 7 days in that week, and it got to #29 on iTunes during that week. So annoying. I love that song. :(

 

I'd rather Bass Down Low go top 10 than Super Bass. Some kid infront of me on the bus this morning was listening to it really loud! I just wanted to hug him or something, but I didn't.

Just listened to it, he's covered/sampled heavily Return of the Mack - whyyyy? :lol:

 

I've never been a huge fan of the original and he appears to have watered it down and made it sound more generic, so I guess I'm not a fan of his version either!

I REALLY want Super Bass to go top 10 - it's her best single yet and better than BDL imo. I like BDL too, won't really care if it misses out though....

'Pretty Girl Rock' IS at #213 however! (It was out the top 300 a day or two ago I believe! - Well not too long ago!)
