June 21, 201114 yr Terrible midweek position for the Sats Fan or not, how is 10+7 a terrible position?
June 21, 201114 yr MW update in, no sales though, I can work out most of the top 10 albums though. They're #20 on iTunes + physicals + remix EP I thought they'd be AT LEAST Top15
June 21, 201114 yr Really pleased for Jason I think he will hold off Example.Hope Parade can climb surprised they are Top 30.Why oh why is anyone buying Pitbulls album, have some pride.
June 21, 201114 yr Cascada surely top 40? I know dance albums are flopping this year but good god if they miss that! And what the hell at Pitbull #5 in the albums?
June 21, 201114 yr how much roughly has gaga sold so far this week then, if anyone wants to have a guess? :P
June 21, 201114 yr Wow at Pitbull in the albums, you know there's a vast gulf between the two charts when you don't expect the act behind a 3-week #1 to have a top 10 album  Good to see Hard-Fi top 40, they'll probably drop out by the end of the week but I said that about Linkin Park last year and they still managed to cling on, thank god.
June 21, 201114 yr There are presently only around 2,500 sales separately GaGa at one and Adele at three, with Polydor act Take That’s Progress, which returned to number one last Sunday following the release of an expanded version, in fourth place. GaGa’s first album The Fame is placed 12th having been in 20th position on last Sunday’s chart. I reckon Adele will retake the #1 spot this week then as Bon Iver will definitely drop out the running and I can't see GaGa sustaining the early sales boost from Paul O'Grady long enough throughout the week to hold onto her small lead.
June 21, 201114 yr Yep, expected that to happen to Cascada, dance albums are definitely out at the moment and I *think* the Cascada bubble has finally burst in the UK, it did well to last for 4 years or so - much more than most dance acts get! They'll still get hits in Europe I should think... Makes more sense for Pitbull to be low top 20, even that's a little higher than I would have expected  #5 would have been a true WTF moment!
June 21, 201114 yr Bon Iver! Incredible! He'll probably fall into third place (even fourth) by the end of the week.
June 21, 201114 yr Erm, yep  Lead single Alligator Sky came out about a month ago, and got a fair bit of Radio 2 airplay = top 40 album :kink:
June 21, 201114 yr Yes Bon Iver! I expected top 10 but not as high as #2! Hopefully it'll stay top 5.
June 21, 201114 yr The Feeling top 10 in the mid week album charts has taken me by surprise Me too, in a good way  Great album.
June 21, 201114 yr Bon Iver! Incredible! He'll probably fall into third place (even fourth) by the end of the week. Amazing album. Anywhere in the top 5 would be a fantastic achievement really, I'm hoping enough people would be prepared to gamble on it for £3.99 on Amazon to keep it high up for this week at least. Oh and YAY at Foster The People being top 30. I really want it to hold on as I think it could really gain in popularity if it manages to do okay in it's first couple of weeks and more radio stations begin to add it.
June 21, 201114 yr Anyone wanna bet that Adele will stay in the top 10 album charts for the rest of the year
