wow Beyonce has a huge lead :o

Just in case you didn't realise, that's an artist chart - ie. that's all of Beyoncé's entries combined compared to all of Coldplay's (and the other artists') entries combined.

-x-

Today's top 100 update (8pm positions)

Just three new entries, all are songs that were released this week but different versions of them were available before. The new dance compilation Clubland 19 provides two of these new entries (the Clubland 19 version of Inna - Sun Is Up is #71, while the Clubland 19 version of Alexandra Stan - Mr Saxobeat is #86) and the third is the album version of Foster The People - Pumped Up Kicks (from the album Torches) at #96. Paramore re-enter the top 100 at #95 with Monster, while two old megahits re-enter at #97 and #98 (Bruno Mars - Just The Way You Are and Rihanna - Only Girl (In The World) respectively). Coldplay are today's double dropouts as their B-Sides Major Minus and Moving To Mars both vacate after just a day in the top 100 each, while entries from SoundGirl, Lady GaGa, Bruno Mars and Chris Brown also drop out to make room for the 6 entries.

Oh. f*** OFF ALEXANDRA  I want Nicki to knock YOU out of the top 10, not Lady GaGa 'Edge of Glory' or Coldplay's newy! :(

Won't Back Down by Eminem is back in the top 500!!!!!! :w00t:

It spent about 8 months in the top 1000, which is pretty amazing for an album track which never became a single. It's longevity in the top 1000 was helped by being on the soundtrack to a popular video game. And now it's back in the chart because it features in a new James Bond advert apparently. I actually hate the song. My least favourite on the album, but I'm happy to see it back for some reason.

And I noticed Ass Like That is about to suddenly fall out of the top 1000, even though it was top 500 for the past 2 months. Why it was so high for so long, I'll never know.

I hope Super Bass can go top 10. I love the song so much, it's really uplifting, and makes me laugh (Nicki in general does, with all her accents and her general babbling ).

P!nk deserved a better song with Eminem. It's easily the worst track from 'Recovery' :(

There's so much I hate about the song. I just wrote a massive rant about it but I'll start again without rambling. I don't like the screaming (it makes his shouting on LTWYL sound like whispering in comparison), but he has to scream, because the beat is so loud. :drama: Too many drums. It's like a kid in Infant school crashing cymbals together for 4 and a half minutes, with some middle-aged man screaming crummy jokes over the top.

Okay havent been on yesterday so VERY happy to see Set Fire To The Rain #16

Also VERY happy to hear Beyonce video tomorrow for BEST THING I NEVER HAD? :o :w00t: Seriously that would be perfect, maybe that could build its lead even more today-friday & saturday! Fingers Crossed!

So is it time for Superbass to finally make top 10? It could be Nicki's first official solo top 10 song? Superbass is her best so would be best. :)

What a great lead Beyonce has on the artist chart :o #BeyonceDomination! So deserved.

not sure about the James Bond advert, haven't seen it.. but it's also used in the new trailer for the new Mission Impossible movie that was premiered earlier today! :)

Beyonce 19% ahead of Jason Derulo. I think it might be enough to come in at number one as I think the gap should go to around 28% tomorrow with the music debut debuting tomorrow, if she's not top 3 in midweek update tomorrow I think all hope of Number 1 is over but I would love Beyonce to shock everyone and get the double.
Bombay Bicycle Club top 50 again :yahoo:

Wait, Beyonce's Best Thing I Never Had video is premiering tomorrow? Wow a #1 secure for Beyonce then without a doubt. And THAT is why Beyonces management is doing great in promoting the album during Glastonbury during the week release AND releasing the video as Best Thing I Never Had has the momentum at the moment.

Too bad Gaga's management is awful in that she promotes things too late for most of the singles (except The Edge Of Glory which didn't help much as the video was awful and boosted literally nothing..)
