I've grown used to 'Bittersweet Goodbye' being on there and I guess it's placed in the best position it could be, following 'Please Stay' which has a more melancholy feel to it than most of the album and preceding 'Butterfly' which has an intro that reminds me of the dawn (which is referred to in 'Bittersweet Goodbye'). I just think there could have been a more suitable track to act as a 'break' from the fun fast paced songs.

Bittersweet Goodbye and Fragile from Fever are both breaks in the albums that work extremely well when listening to the albums. With that said, has she ever performed any of these two tracks live as i dont ever recall seeing any performances of the songs.

I've never seen Fragile as the Fever equivalent of Bittersweet Goodbye; it sounds sonically similar to other songs and there are a couple of other slower paced songs.

Bittersweet Goodbye was performed on the Anti Tour btw. She nailed it too.

Managed to find out 490,000 but nothing more specific than that, unfortunately!

Thanks for finding that out, Jay! I didn't expect it to have passed 500k but I had hoped it might have been a tad higher.

That's 12k in 9 years. I suppose we can assume Body Language is on ~410k and X is on ~470k in that case?

Do you have the Top 200 chart runs of other singles that Kylie has appeared on (Band Aid II - Do They Know It's Christmas, Helping Haiti - Everybody Hurts, Brian Wilson & Various Artists - God Only Knows, Scissor Sisters - Any Which Way (Kylie on backing vocals) and will.i.am feat Pia Mia - Boys & Girls (this samples Break This Heartbreak))?

Do They Know It's Christmas? (Band Aid II)

NE: 1-1-1-4-32-66 (first entry: 23/12/89) 6 weeks

The others were released when there was a Top 200 and I can't find the stats beyond the Top 100.

This is what I could find in the Top 100:

Everybody Hurts (Helping Haiti)

NE 1-1-9-26-42-77-? (first entry 20/2/10)

Any Which Way (Scissor Sisters)

NE 81-? (first entry 2/10/10)

God Only Knows (Brian Wilson & Various Artists)

NE 20-38-60-?-?-39-69-? (first entry 18/10/14)

Boys & Girls (will.i.am feat. Pia Mia)

NE 44-53-63-42-26-21-33-38-42-50-55-68-? (first entry 21/4/16)

HMV sale has started and there are a few Kylie titles reduced so should help with extra sales -

Kiss Me Once £3.99 (Coming for that Gold certification)

Fever £3.99

Aphrodite £3.99

Abbey Road Sessions £3.99

Just went in to HMV Oxford St and they have a decent display of Hits + in the offers section from £7.99 to £4.99 - I know it’s usally around this price anyway but good it’s getting some exposure, would love to know it’s updated sales.

Ooh good that it's on display. It's a great collection that probably doesn't get as much attention as some of the others so I'm happy it's got that exposure on top of the discount.

Just reviewing Kylie's sales... I wouldn't be surprised if 'I Believe in You' was certified Silver before the year is out. It has a similar amount of UK streams and sales to 'On a Night Like This' which went Silver earlier this year.

That will probably be her last certification in the singles for quite a while though. Even accounting for streams, I think 'Spinning Around' and 'Higher' are too far off from Gold and 'Slow' stands a better chance at reaching Silver sooner than '2 Hearts', but is still a way off too.

Can't see anything from her albums reaching new certifications either. I don't think Ultimate Kylie shifts many copies now (Amazon only seem to be selling second hand copies) and it's not on Spotify. The 2012 Best of Kylie probably shifts reasonably well in comparison to the rest of her discography but that too is not on Spotify (although it used to be) so Gold may be a way off.

KM94 out on white vinyl today at Sainsburys so could be returning to the charts next week :cheer:
Same as LY - 2,500 so could chart highly as judging by the amount on eBay the album will be a total sell out.
Both 'Shocked' & 'If You Were With Me Now' have sold over 100k back on their original releases, found this list Top 150 Best Selling Stock Aitken and Waterman Singles and according to that they sold 106,900 & 100,300 respectively, don't know how much they've sold now, but those are what I found.

The list features 17 of her PWL singles (by far the most entries on that list), and strangely no 'Word Is Out' or 'Celebration', considering the list begins at 45,000, they both must have sold really low during their original releases. Anyway I've decided to list all of Kylie's entries on that list with their original sales figures.

05. ESPECIALLY FOR YOU [Ft Jason Donovan] = 856,100
06. I SHOULD BE SO LUCKY = 659,700
14. HAND ON YOUR HEART = 424,900
16. THE LOCOMOTION = 356,700
21. WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING = 333,200

There are a few different estimates for Kylie's PWL singles. I've tried to base my current estimates on the list that the OCC recently revealed. Some chart enthusiasts may (rightfully) disagree with the OCC but this way keeps things consistent and the sales at least seem correct relatively speaking (aside from Give Me Just a Little More Time which has certainly been overestimated - by about double, I believe - and I have left out of my list for the meantime).
