They're really not, most album sales fall off a cliff after the first week and Kylie doesn't have the benefit of having the bulk of her weekly sales being made from streams. For her album to have still have gone Gold even without those first week sales is really good going.

Disco should safely get kylie a 3td consecutive gold selling album and hopefully 3rd consecutive number 1 aswell although technically golden live breaks that run.

An overexcited fan has already edited her Wikipedia page, claiming Disco got to #1 in the UK :lol:

Thanks Jay! Wasn't sure what to expect for the total sales of 'Say Something' but I'd say that's quite respectable.

 

'Dancing' had sold 66,092 as of the week it peaked at #38. That was 11 weeks after release, compared to 15 weeks for 'Say Something'.

Thats great sales for say something considering its chart performance, it has a good chance of eventually getting to 100k.

With say something in my opinion getting much less pushing and promo its done well to have over double the sales of magic.

Say Something and Music's Too Sad Without You coming to overtake the sales of Top 10 charting singles for Kylie.

Dancing has equalled or eclipsed some of them too.
