AND Irreplacable returns top 40 :dancing: Hope it stays and even climbs as it is on iTunes still. So Beyonce has 3 singles within top 40 this week so far!

I'm sure Beyonce will be top5 by sunday, its a much better song than her last one. Where abouts is edge of glory?
TWO b-sides listed in the top 40, that's a first  I presume that they will be combined into ETIAW and Coldplay will be higher, possibly top 3? :o

:cheer: @ Lady Gaga and Janelle :D

Who is this mystical Janelle Moore though?

edit: ok, it was edited :P

Hmmm This all looks a bit dodgey lol.

Coldplay's sales definitely will be added together Moving to Mars is at #100 and major Minus is at #87, so that can't be right.

At least The Sats are technically at #18

Although it is great to see Beyonce at No 1 , 4 is very ballad heavy and not as cohesive as her previous albums.Really hope it does well in the US too.End of Time should have been the lead single for sure.

The singles and albums chart is looking pretty coldplay-ish  5 singles in the top 40 :D, the 2 two b-sides was a major WTF moment when I was typing it up.

3 tracks from Beyonce in there, 2 from Adele, 2 David Guetta tracks, 2 J.Lo tracks

How is Ed Sheeran back to #3? And look at the Coldplay takeover!

Is this Beyonce's first #1 album since Dangerously In Love? I was dangerously annoyed with that album holding Delta's Innocent Eyes at #2 for what seemed like the whole of summer 2003 :(

The A Team got played several times in the BBC Glastonbury coverage.

Beyonce's album has sold 32k already :o adds MW report to page 1 in a mo

Ha Kaisers are top 10 only. I expect them to drop out with M&S's possibly climbing in. Poor GaGa will be knocked down to 9 by tommorow :(

By how, I meant how in terms of it never getting above #5 on iTunes for about a week and now out of the top five.

I can only assume that #3-5 are incredibly close and his physical sales/other download sites are hauling him above the others.

32k for the first day, for Beyoncé? Brilliant! I knew she'd do well. :D

Wow :o

And so many people thought that this era was dead before it had even begun. I know the Glastonbury exposure will have helped but it's a far stronger album than it gets given credit for, I could much more easily sit through 4 in its entireity than her other albums which are so up and down it's insane. But then I like ballads, I can see why it wouldn't appeal much to uptempo fans.

Only Coldplay can do such thing and not with a new album or whatever, can't wait for the new album... :(

What I usually do I scan the update and I try to remember all the artists in my head as I'm typing the update and somehow Moore slipped in there by accident.

Isn't it funny that there's always at least one artist in the album T40 that you think 'WTF is that?'. :P

This week, it's Gillian Welch...

Lady Gaga [Judas + BTW] Take That, Wynter Gordon, Inna, Katy B, Parade and Tracy Chapman have left the top 40 singles chart from last week.

According to MW the difference between numbers three and five is only around 200 copies.

iThink iTunes sales are missing for the singles; some of the positions look odd (e.g. Ed Sheeran #3; Coldplay #6; Foster the People #38).

Ouch for Kaisers behind a Biffy live album :o hopefully it'll have a little longevity, which is probably preferable to the inevitable top 5 entry and then insane plummet they'd have had without this release tactic.
