June 30, 201115 yr I love how Caro Emerald always climbs the nearer it gets to the weekend, if only she could do that on the singles, just for one day I'd love to see That Man or ANLT in there...
June 30, 201115 yr Great to see Beyonce top 3! She has three days to climb two places. I think it's going to be pretty close come Sunday.
June 30, 201115 yr She has three days to climb two places. I think it's going to be pretty close come Sunday. I think so too. She's widening her lead on iTunes though, so fingers crossed she'll get there by Sunday. :D
June 30, 201115 yr I think so too. She's widening her lead on iTunes though, so fingers crossed she'll get there by Sunday. :D I think there will only be a few thousand in it. Any news on the video?
June 30, 201115 yr Any news on the video? Nope, not yet. It's still set for release today. They better release it. <_<
June 30, 201115 yr wow I thought when I woke up Beyonce lead would have been closer to 25-30% not just around the same of 18% on iTunes- though the fact shes at #3 is really good for her. The bigger question is how much is the sales difference between 1 and 3 ? If Beyonce is gonna do it I still say she has to somehow pull ahead more (how much more, dunno) and stay there until Sat mdnite. If only she released this song a day earlier it would be a shoe in- now not as much, but possible.
June 30, 201115 yr I hope Inna climbs higher. I LOVE Sun Is Up, the Clubland compliation is really helping out! Shame it's not doing as well as Hot, but at least it's gonna be her second biggest hit. :D Much better than Mr Saxobeat... :P
June 30, 201115 yr She should have released the single version on Sunday. Not only would that have given her Sunday sales, it would have also given the public two versions to buy (like Adele's SLY, even though they were actually different versions). And Lovett, I agree. If they don't premiere the video today, I don't think Beyonce will get the #1. Edited June 30, 201115 yr by SceneofSIXCrimes

June 30, 201115 yr It's released this Sunday, so she'll have two versions for next week. Will that be enough though for a #1? :( Although, the optimist in me believes that if there's another version available on Sunday and the video is released this week (by Sunday), BTINH might actually go to #1 instead of 'Louder'. Especially, if it rapidly gets boosted before 'Louder' gets anywhere near the top 3. Edited June 30, 201115 yr by SceneofSIXCrimes
June 30, 201115 yr I just had a look at Guetta's situation after his Monday release - IIRC he had a much bigger lead at #1 on iTunes much earlier than this but still ended up nearly 10k off the #1 - which was LMFAO's fourth week on just 64k, so not a lot higher than Jason is likely to be this week. Based on that it doesn't look good for Beyoncé, but then again she does of course have the video released today which *could* give the necessary boost. Plus Guetta was only #6 on the Thursday midweeks and Beyoncé is #3. I think if she's still #3 tomorrow she has a very, very low chance of #1, but if she climbs up to #2 then she has a shot. Some sales information would be nice too though :P Edited June 30, 201115 yr by Bré

Especially, if it rapidly gets boosted before 'Louder' gets anywhere near the top 3. If people's predictions of 100k+ for Louder turn out to be true (and given the insane volume of pre-orders it has they could well be) I think Beyoncé has even less of a chance next week than she does this week to be honest... I'm not totally convinced Louder will be as big as it's predicted to be but it definitely has the potential to be. And if they really are releasing a single version I think that'll just make it easier for Louder to get to #1 on iTunes as the single version may take some sales away from the album verson... I don't think they should bother releasing a single version. Edited June 30, 201115 yr by Bré

Some sales information would be nice too though :P Yeah that's fair point tbh. I don't know how Guetta lost the battle tbh and only ended up at #3. :o Regarding 'Louder', I can hope that it's not as big as everyone is saying it will be. We'll see though. It doesn't seem like a great song and that is not me being bitter. It's very underwhelming given the hype. :P
June 30, 201115 yr I think Louder is underwhelming too and I'm a big fan of DJ Fresh. To be honest I'd prefer if Example could somehow take back #1 next week :kink:

Some sales information would be nice too though :P Thought Beyonce would be #2 today. Given she isn't, then if the video isn't released today, I think Beyonce has close to 0% chance of #1 this week as:- She's still #3 - the sales gap between Example and DeRulo is circa 30% so Beyonce has to bridge that PLUS whatever she is behind Example. She's circa 15% ahead of DeRulo on iTunes with 3 sales days left (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) but that lead is sure to drop from tonight onwards as the Glasto / new album effect wears off;Album tracks I'm convinced sell less on other download sites than they do on iTunes, therefore that 15% current lead on iTunes is probably only circa 5% across all download sites as a whole. If the video is released today (needs to be now, and not at like 8/9pm UK time), then she has a chance, but will need to build a lead on iTunes of approx 30% and sustain it right through to Saturday midnight, then I think it'll be close, otherwise I'm convinced DeRulo will remain @ #1.
June 30, 201115 yr Its not necessairly true that the lead is SURE to start dropping, Yes the Glasto effect will be decreasing as we are now at Thursday however airplay is increasing so that may help it continue to climb as more and more people are actually hearing it as i'm sure some people actually havent even heard it yet as it wasnt even top 40 on airplay last week, however thats sure to be higher this week and is now A-List Radio-1 :) Also the hype is still around, especially with Beyonce album at #1 so thats helping too. If i'm honest, i'd LOVE it to be #1 and that'd be great, but seeing it in top 3 is actually great in itself, it will at least be #2 come Sunday (I still think it could be #1) and its doing so well, and just so glad it is becoming a hit after RTW underperformance, also with a video its set to be a decent sized hit :D So whatever happens all good, + #1 album for sure come Sunday! :w00t: SFTTR #23, higher come tomorrow i hope! :) So 21 is going for its 23rd week in the top 2, is that right? And 24th would be a new record? :o
June 30, 201115 yr Of course, she'd have a far better chance if "Don't Wanna Go Home" started falling faster. Then again, that create a Champion/Price Tag/Born This Way scenario where one is falling so quickly and another isn't gaining fast enough, giving the one everyone's forgotten (Example, in this case) the #1. I doubt that'll happen this week though.
