July 6, 201114 yr HA! Yes. :( She was on her own label for the last album too, it sold about half the amount of her previous one. I'm so pleased Beverley's still at #6 today! There's a long way to go yet, but I figured she'd be like the Nerina Pallot/Sophie Ellis-Bextor albums and fall to about #30 by the end of the week. So far, so good. I'm not sure how I feel about this staying at #6 though, not sure I want it to be her highest charting album, but would be chuffed for her if it was. I'm surprised to see it as the highest new entry, some supermarkets and stocking it and it was very low key in comparison to the other new releases in my local HMV! I did not know her last release was on her own label it just came and went she seems very proactive this time around and has been doing lots of promo and getting good newspaper reviews.I hope she has really good weekend sales and has a chance at going to 5.

July 6, 201114 yr I think Someone Like You will climb a bit this week with it being in the news atm. Heart FM keep talking about how it's sold a million aswell. I also don't think Louder can beat Grenade's sales. I think it'll be more frontloaded than Grenade (NOTE: I'm not saying Louder is a bad song, it's just not going to get as much airplay as Grenade, so it'll obviously decrease in sales faster).
July 6, 201114 yr Im glad set the fire to the rain has finally cracked the top 20. and thats without a video! :dance: Its #12 on iTunes now and a remix of it at #49, so its looking great at the moment, just want that video NOW!
July 7, 201114 yr I find it kind of interesting Selena Gomez has barely had any major hit singles in the UK except Naturally but yet she is about to have her 3rd consecutive top 20 album

July 7, 201114 yr Hopefully Beyonce gets video "out there" which will give her the boost which will be enough for her to overtake Derulo, I assume. With Ed Sheeran most certainly overtaking him too, I can see the possibility of him going 1-6... That would be painful if happened. It would just prove how much "by default" were his two #1 weeks.

July 7, 201114 yr I don't like Beyonce but I would love her to knock Jason out the top 5 - he deserves it and maybe it'll teach him to make better songs like he used to do (Ridin Solo , Watcha Say and In My Head especially) With Ed Sheeran climbing up iTunes, Jason will defo be 5 tomorrow. :D
