July 7, 201115 yr Great to see set the fire to the rain getting nearer and nearer to the top 10 although im expecting it to end up #11 on sunday. Beverley Knight slipping a little but still top 10, i just hope it can stay there and likewise i hope take that hold top 4 in the albums again this week. Also great to see Noan and the Whales albums having such a steady chart run, this should easily be their best selling album.

July 8, 201115 yr Bizarre that it'll peak higher than "The Catalyst"! The Catalyst was terrible though. As were all the singles off A Thousand Suns tbh (OK. maybe at a push, Iridescent is good...but that would be it...). Catalyst was lucky to get Top 40 imo. Haven't listened to their version of Rolling In The Deep yet, but I hope it get some form of success as the clip on iTunes sounded good. :D
July 8, 201115 yr The Catalyst was extremely lucky to go top 40. Didn't it never go top 40 on iTunes? But yeah, it is strange a random live cover is likely to chart higher than their last lead single :o Someone Like You now up 2 places from Sunday :D It's back up to #26 on iTunes, so hopefully it can get back into the top 30 by Sunday.

July 8, 201115 yr i wouldnt be suprised if this was the most successful adele will get with albums and single sales and chartings. this will probaby end up being the pinnacle of her career. it will be hard for her to top the 21 era and i cant see her doing it, could be like leona and many others when they set the bar so high its impossible to top or match it... July 8, 201115 yr ^ I think so. It's pretty much impossible to ever top this. It's annoying though, because I think a lot of people will inevitably brand her a "flop" or whatever, if her next album *only* sells 2 million. I think she'll still be big in years to come, but I really don't think it's reasonable to expect her to be this big ever again.
