Led by vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Will.I.Am., the band also includes two other MCs, Apl.de.Ap. and Taboo, along with vocalist Fergie, and a live backing band. Building a steady buzz with its first two releases, Black Eyed Peas garnered mainstream attention with the 2003 album, ELEPHUNK, which launched Fergie's solo career and helped make Will.I.Am one of the most in-demand producers in hip-hop, pop, and R&B for several years to come. - HMV Video here: u9LH_y159sg Chart history (Year peak title): 1998 53 Joints And Jams 2001 31 Request Line (The Black Eyed Peas Feat. July 10, 201115 yr I actually really like 'Don't Stop The Party' - I think it's because it's so catchy!
July 10, 201115 yr It's certain to be used a lot on the XF so I could see it getting 1.2m by the end of the year! Perhaps. I can see it going top ten if it's used. You never know, it could go number one again, though that's very unlikely. 1.2 million it is! There's still technically half the year left.
July 10, 201115 yr Don't Stop The Party is beyond catchy! Too bad it didn't do that well. Hopefully, it sticks around and has a good long chart run.
July 10, 201115 yr Someone Like You could end the year on 1.1 million sales easily, I think. I think so. I think it could be competiting with I Gotta Feeling for best-selling digital song sometime in the future. I've barely heard Don't Stop the Party anywhere on the radio actually. :( Although I think it's poor for a BEP song. The "chorus" is decent though. For Adele: Set Fire to the Rain>>>>>>>>>>>Rolling in the Deep>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Turning Tables>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Someone Like You None of them are dreadful though imo.
July 10, 201115 yr 36-33-47-1-1-1-1-2-1-2-3-6-12-12-11-14-17-21-20-24-27-29-34-30 What an incredible chart run, and UP 4 PLACES after selling 1,000,000+ copies, and off an album of 2,700,000, incredible. Last week for Price Tag in top 40 (#40) but i'm sure it'll be back when X Factor starts possibly. Enrique #34, is there not a video? Not too bothered. Dont Stop The Party wasnt a flop  Just wasnt huge. Adele's songs are so hard to rate i'd say SFTTR > RITD >>> SLY. But that is so hard for me to do :heehee: SFTTR & RITD are tw of my favourite songs of all time, and SLY is just a classic. Edited July 10, 201115 yr by Karma
July 10, 201115 yr Biggest seller of the decade so far. Corrected your post (it was correct anyway - but I want to point something out :P)
July 10, 201115 yr I'm shocked Mann has a second top 40 hit, let alone top 30. He SCREAMED one hit wonder, a la Travie McCoy. Also, a 5th top 40 hit for Iyaz. And it matches 'Pyramid' as the longest title for him :kink: Edited July 10, 201115 yr by Bré
July 10, 201115 yr deserved flop for the BEPs :D Deserved? How so? Wouldn't call it a flop. It's done well, just not great. The Time was number one and sold 600k copies, so this era has been decent for them. I think so. I think it could be competiting with I Gotta Feeling for best-selling digital song sometime in the future. I've barely heard Don't Stop the Party anywhere on the radio actually. :( Although I think it's poor for a BEP song. The "chorus" is decent though. I think so too. In the very long run, I think IGAF will sell more than SLY and stay in the top 100 while Adele is out of the top 100. IGAF has unusually strong staying power. Don't Stop The Party is very catchy. Too bad it didn't too better.
July 10, 201115 yr It's a bit how Scott is like "Mann from Buzzin', remember him?" It was only like a month ago it was popular. I hope Boom! can get in the top 40 asap, and Snoop Dogg can be on 3 top 40 hits at the same time! :o
