Yeah. Who You Are should be a big hit. Although I think everybody will have already bought it by the time they start promoting it. :lol:

 

Notorious keeps falling. :( I've not once heard it on the radio, and i've seen it a total of about ten times altogether on the music channels since it's release eight weeks ago.

 

Every time I turn on Capital FM they're always playing the same trash over and over again. They're STILL hammering Just The Way You Are, Raise Your Glass and California Gurls. :(

 

Capital play Notorious all the time. You might be thinking of Heart FM, because that still plays all those songs all the time (except Raise Your Glass).

 

Radio 1 is the worst though. They're still playing Ego and Up. :drama:

I hope they do release a new version of the song for the single. I think Jessie J is a good singer, but I don't like the way she screeches in the song. It's painful to listen to imo.

Rihanna has FINALLY beaten Lady Gaga in terms of Facebook likes. I've been waiting for this for sooooooooo long.

 

I can't believe she's actually managed it! :o She was millions and millions behind 12 months ago, and Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson were miles ahead of everybody else, but with her increasing popularity last year, she started getting like twice as many likes per day, so I thought she might catch up, but I never knew if it was just something that would last a few months. There were a few times when she suffered though. There was a week where her Facebook account got hacked, and started losing like 50,000 likes a day overall for ages, which set her back majorly again.

 

I think she might start losing again in a bit, because some Lady Gaga fans are disliking her now, but most of them disliked her page a few months back when they saw her catching up anyway.

Well, Rihanna was the highest-selling artist of 2010 anyway.

 

Okay, I was just being dramatic, but it's not about the sales to be fair. It's about cultural impact really. Like Justin Bieber sells very little tbh, but he's one of the biggest pop stars on the planet atm, is it fair to say? I'm not saying he's good, but he's very popular apparently.

 

And when I was younger, for example, Britney Spears's sales weren't that high (well, I think she had a couple of million sellers) I believe, but she was bigger back then than any artist today is now, even though she might've sold less than Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, etc. at the time, if that makes any sense. :lol:

I wouldn't call Facebook an "anti-climax" either. It would be better if a poll could be done where everybody in the world ticks artists that they like, but that's impossible. Facebook is the next best thing out there. An "anti-climax" would be if she won a poll in some random gossip magazine. This is a poll of people all over the planet.
