It is a really good song, but still the weakest on the album and not a good single choice :( Heart will love it though

Yeah, I could see Radio 2 playlisting it. Radio 2 have been playing Americano though.

I've not actually heard anything from her played on Heart since Alejandro! :o I think they might start playing The Edge of Glory, as I don't think that's any less Heart-friendly than her other songs which they play. I'll be shocked if they don't play You and I.

I haven't listened to her whole album, but out of the songs I've heard I think You and I is better than a few of them.

Heart will be playing The Edge Of Glory in a month or two then You & I in like Novemember/December though  They did play Born This Way a bit on Heart Bristol, but I didn't hear Judas.

^ For anyone who didnt see Adele's performance of 'I Cant Make You Love Me'. Sensational.

So what's out this evening? According to the schedule, the only big song to be released is Red Hot Chili Peppers (and I'm not even sure that's being released), as well as Hot Chelle Rae, which might do well given how it's done in America.
Hot Chelle Rae should enter the top 40 next week, as well as Blink-182, Tinie Tempah, Christina Perri and Chase & Status. And Templecloud and Bad Meets Evil might re-enter.

RHCP are released tomorrow (Monday) at either midnight or immediately after it's premiered (around 7:30?) AFAIA. Should go top 20 if not top 10 I reckon. But they're still being stupid by missing the biggest sales day of the week.

Other than that, Hot Chelle Rae and the Hitz EP with the single version and Wretch 32 remix are the only releases of any note. Hopefully the latter can help Hitz into the top 40 but I have a bad feeling it'll end up just missing out. I think HCR will enter around the lower end of the top 75 and then climb into the top 40 in a couple of weeks a la The All-American Rejects' Gives You Hell.

I don't think blink-182 will go top 40 at all to be honest, they've got nothing to stop them from just plummetting like Linkin Park did. Then again LP had 3 days of sales in their first 'week' compared to just one for blink-182.

Ideally, Brooke Fraser would storm to number 1 with Betty but we all know that won't happen  Hot Chelle Rae and Chase & Status looking like top 40, and the Nightcrawlers have a new song with Taio Cruz, that might get there too on name, though I've not heard it on radio or seen it on TV so it may flop.
Taio Cruz isn't exactly a name though. He doesn't really have a fanbase at all.

That's true, but most things he's done have charted well since BYH. Though his abysmal album sales do prove he has no fanbase.

new entries

#50 Chase & Status feat Tinie Tempah – Hitz (& #789)

#66 Laidback Luke & Steve Aoki feat Lil Jon – Turbulence (& #699)

#80 Chipmunk feat Trey Songz - Take Off

#578 Beady Eye - The Beat Goes On

Hardly any new releases are screaming out this week, looks like its pretty much of a dead week, most of the new entries will probably chart towards the top 30 to 40 end.

@ Blink 182, I didn't know they had a new track out :o goes and you tubes.

Hang on, aren't JLS meant to be out this week?

You & I is one of the most instant tracks on the album along with Scheiße so i think it could work quite well as a break before releasing the manic Marry The Night & Scheiße (2 songs which she HAS to release to avoid another Dance in the Dark-like snub)

No new releases in the top 300... boring. Hitz EP comes in at a very disappointing #40. :(

Maybe because the radio mix isn't on there, the tracklisting is:

1 - Wretch 32 Remix

2 - 16Bit Remix

3 - Delta Havy Remix

4 - Dillon Francis Remix

I won't be buying the album version of 'Hitz', or the Wretch 32 version (I haven't heard Wretch's version but he's a very average/nothingy rapper and I love both of Tinie's verses) - so unless they add the TT only version with 'chorus' I sadly can't help it get T40 :( :(
