July 17, 201115 yr But he has lost his momentum now. LBG bombed in the USA and isn't exactly off to a great start here. Oh well, he knows he can gain euros and pounds too. ^_^

July 17, 201115 yr Set Fire to the Rain. I hope this will get top 10. There's a massive gap on iTunes, but she's got the whole week to get there, and Pitbull, Example and Katy Perry are all falling now.

July 17, 201115 yr this and Super Bass feel like they've been 11 and 12 for years! :drama: I really hope at least *one* of them can get top 10 eventually Edited July 17, 201115 yr by Chart Wizard
July 17, 201115 yr I just don't see why "Set Fire To The Rain" gets so much love, compared to "Someone Like You" or "Make You Feel My Love", or even "Rolling In The Deep", it's a quite weak song. Of course she sings it very well indeed.
July 17, 201115 yr Oh well, he knows he can gain euros and pounds too. ^_^ Most of David Guetta's songs do poorly in the US actually. I think I Gotta Feeling and Sexy Chick have been his only big hits. Memories, Who's That Chick?, When Love Takes Over, Sweat, Where Them Girls At, Little Bad Girl, One Love all did poorly there. However, the US chart is more welcoming of variety than the UK chart, so that does make sense. It's surprising even the Rihanna song flopped though! :o

Of course she sings it very well indeed. I think the fact that radio haven't overplayed it (yet) is one reason. It's such a shame for Adele really, because she's had some quite good songs, but some people are starting to hate them thanks to Heart FM, etc.

Memories, Who's That Chick?, When Love Takes Over, Sweat, Where Them Girls At, Little Bad Girl, One Love all did poorly there. Wouldn't call #14 (WTGA) poor and Memories was a sleeper hit despite peaking only at 46.. It was close to top 20 on pop songs as well.
July 17, 201115 yr I completely disagree - SFTTR is the highlight of 21 as Hometown Glory is the highlight of 19! This. Adele singles: Hometown Glory >>>>> Set Fire To The Rain >>> Rolling In The Deep >> Someone Like You >>> Make You Feel My Love > Chasing Pavements >>>>> Cold Shoulder
July 17, 201115 yr Yep, I think "Set Fire To The Rain" is one of the strongest tracks from the album. As she didn't make a video perhaps she should have knocked it down to 59p on ITunes...Result..Top 10!! Geez, DJ Fresh is certain to drop to 2..My chart just gets worse!!
July 17, 201115 yr Wouldn't call #14 (WTGA) poor and Memories was a sleeper hit despite peaking only at 46.. It was close to top 20 on pop songs as well. Well, compared to his success in Europe anyway. In the US it seems they're less tolerant to that sort of thing, even if Rihanna is on the song. Over there they don't just see an artists and automatically buy the song (Taylor Swift and Lil Wayne aside ).

July 17, 201115 yr I agree SFTTR is by far Adele's beast single this era, and Hometown Glory of 19, I heard it the other day and it reminded me of how great it was  looks like LFN won't get top 5 :( if only it was ET that didn't manage that
