How can I see the popularity bars in iTunes 9 & 10?

Use this link: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore...aultSeeAllSongs

Then select 'View' and tick 'popularity', alternatively, in the headings bar (Artist, Album, Time, etc), right click and select 'popularity'

I read the subtitle wrong, I saw Rizzle Kicks 9  Got a bit excited, then disappointed when I saw the 1 before the 9
I'm lovin' Down with the Trumpets at the moment.... hopefully it continues to climb :)

Nicki back at 11?! Amazing. I know I keep banging on about this, but I am really, really hoping it gets at LEAST one week peak inside the Top 10! Something like 'Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart' would be lovely :D
I have no idea why Nicki isn't bothering to promo! This could easily pass 300,000 if it manages to break the top 10!

Nicki is back down to #12 now. :(

I LOVE Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart! Such a beautiful song, and the drums in it are incredible. We need more songs with strong percussion in them in the chart. I Need a Doctor is almost back in the top 50, but we need something bigger than that.

According to her verse in Where Them Girls At, she had a rather horrific experience last time she came to the UK. I think we've frightened her away.

Down with the Trumpets at #17 now :o

I don't love it but want it at #20 in the official charts just for my Chart Game prediction ^_^

6 Jason Derülo Don't Wanna Go Home 0.422249

7 Katy Perry Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) 0.419408

8 Calvin Harris Bounce (Radio Edit) [feat. Kelis] 0.414556

9 Pitbull Give Me Everything (feat. Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer) 0.407219

10 Example Changed the Way You Kiss Me (Radio Edit) 0.388166

11 Aloe Blacc I Need a Dollar 0.358935

12 Nicki Minaj Super Bass 0.352308

13 ADELE Set Fire to the Rain 0.327101

Adele slipping away, slowly :( Come on Nickele! Move your asses into the top 10 and give us something NEW inside the top 10!

Technically Set Fire to the Rain and Super Bass are older than some of the songs in the top 10. :kink: But yeah, I know what you mean. They need to go top 10. I hate watching them stalling at #11. It really breaks my heart. :(

I think the very oldest song is I Need a Dollar or Last Friday Night. They were both really high on US iTunes like this time 12 months ago.

I wonder how much benefit the 'T10 effect' actually gives, though?

You'd think if it was significant, there'd be a larger than normal gap between the average sales of #10 & 11, but I just don't see that in the figures.

There normally is on iTunes. No idea why that doesn't stretch to the official chart but you can't deny the top 10 boost is a major thing. (It also explains why there are so few entries at #10 aside from midweek and frontloaded releases)

There have only been 2 #10 entries this entire year - Yeah 3X which was released midweek (or at least only took off midweek) and Parade's Louder which was extremely frontloaded and started the week higher.

The A Team was the first of the current top 15 to get released, on Ed's 'Loose Change' EP which was released in February 2010. 'I Need A Dollar' came out in March, 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' in August with the album's release.

'Dirty Dancer' was released before 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' (July 2010) but not in the version that's currently charting.

29 Tinie Tempah & Wiz Khalifa/ Till I'm Gone

38 Snow Patrol/ Chasing Cars Back in the Top40

59 Blink-182/ Up All Night Will this still make the Top40 on Sunday?

Oh wow! Are Snow Patrol 59p then? :o :o

I really hope blink get top 40! :( Also, woo for Christina Perri FINALLY being top 40! [/late]

Chasing Cars top 40 :puke: But I'm glad Tinie/Wiz and Christina Perri are making some progress :) Red Hot Chilli Peppers might not get top 40 :o
Surely there should be an age limit with songs in the charts? It is silly. I bet the people who have downloaded this have the song three or four times. I think Apple should put a block on that IP or send a virus down their computer.....or do what they did in Azerbaijan one year and got people to attend a meeting for voting for a certain song.

What?

If you're talking about Chasing Cars, I doubt it's got that many multi-buys. It's a bit different with Someone Like You, because in theory hundreds of thousands of people could have more than one copy of the song, but with other songs, I think the only reason it'll get bought more than once is if people delete the song, and want it again. And physical copies of songs can be bought more than once aswell.

Although, in the US, I think they have an age limit on the chart.

I agree - if under-30's were banned from downloading, the singles chart would be far more to my liking... :w00t:

Oh wait, that wasn't what you meant...
