So how come I've heard AFU more than Collide, when AFU premired a week after Collide? -_-

BTW, I do love Leona Lewis(), but if she came back with a #63 flop, I bet all you guys would say it was a massive hit. ;)

2 weeks, one week, it's not much of a difference. I heard I Need a Dollar and Bass Down Low on the radio months and months ago. Possibly even back in 2010. Then didn't hear them for months, and now look what happened.

I'm not particularly fond of Leona personally. She's a good singer, and I'm sure she's a nice person, but I don't think I've heard a song from her that I've liked yet.

I can't believe the three songs are being compared so soon.

Pixie has the most airplay but her song is very radio friendly and is returning after a very successful debut era, Leona's last release (I Go You) flopped and the single before that underperformed (Happy) and plus has the controversy over Collide overshadowing the actual song itself. The Saturdays last single underperformed and had abysmal airplay, plus Pixie has a video (that helps create more of a buzz and generate interest) whereas the other two don't.

I can't wait to see the chart battle on the week

Same! :D

I hope it's Pixie at #1, the Sats at #2 and Leona in the top 10 somewhere..

Never thought I'd say that as I'm a Saturdays loon but I love Pixie too :L

I so hope both The Saturdays and Pixie get top 3. I can't see it though tbh it'll be something like:

1. Example

3. The Saturdays

4. Leona

6. Pixie

And Sugababes will probably be either low top 10 or just outside.

My favourite out of the three songs has to be The Saturdays one. Generic, but so epic imo! Even more epic than Notorious, possibly.

But I don't think any of them will be #1. Honestly, it'll probably be some American rap-club song that's #1 then. We might have a better idea what it'll be in a few weeks when it starts climbing the chart.

Top 100 update still coming. Sorry for the delay folks :P Was playing worldwide Mario Kart Wii.

I'm surprised you managed to stop! I could play that game for probably a hundred hours straight and not get bored. So fun. :D Possibly my favourite out of all the Mario Kart games aswell at the moment!

I really hope Example never gets to number 1, and i don't think he will. In comparison to "Changed The Way You Kiss", in m opinion "Stay Awake" is boring, dull and un-catchy.

Anyway, wonder if there will be any change in the iTunes chart when it un-reverts :D

I'm excited for it too (well, I'm always going to be excited about a new Mario Kart game, I won't lie)! :D There'll probably be some of the Wii courses in there too. I'm hoping DK Snowboard Cross and Dry Dry Ruins are in it.

The only new entries I can see next week are Cher Lloyd, Benny Benassi (he's climbing a lot now), Eminem, Christina Perri and maybe Dev.

I don't think there's any way Example won't be #1, but I hope not. It's alright, but bland especially in comparison to his recent #1. I always said it was this year's 'I'm Not Alone', maybe stay awake will be this year's 'Ready For The Weekend'?

Right, top 100 update (8pm positions)

Well, I was wrong yesterday, 2 more tracks from 'Now That's What I Call Music!, Vol. 79' have entered today - Coldplay's #6 hit 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' (#96) and Chris Brown feat. Benny Benassi's #4 hit 'Beautiful People' (#99). The number of Now! entries in the top 100 then rises to nineteen (as Tinchy Stryder and Dappy's Spaceship drops out, alongside entries by Selena Gomez & The Scene, Dev and Rihanna). There are also a couple of random re-entries, Chase & Status feat. Liam Bailey - Blind Faith at #93 and Amy Winehouse - Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow at #97.

Why is itunes so messed up this week? :\ mine as been frozen all day today

Edited by Brooke_x

Cher is quite possibly the most obvious number 1 of the year, but why am I getting horrible feelings that it's going to "do a Willow Smith 'Whip My Hair'"? :(

Willow was up against The Time though. It's not an ordinary song. Plus, the BEPs had just performed on the X Factor, and like with when Someone Like You was performed, the public was touched by the performance, and went to buy the song, getting it to #1.

You don't stand a chance in that situation. But when you're up against JLS's 2nd week, I think she'll be fine. :) Cher is awesome. I wish her all the best.
