How can you say someone has it in the bag when they don't even have a 10% lead. And I think Guetta will, its not that he has to rise massively, JLS are really falling. I think Nero will get it this week, but not by much. No-one has it 'in the bag'.

I agree, it's still very much an open 4-way battle between JLS, David Guetta, Christina Perri and Nero. Any of them could be #1. And if this Tony Bennett/Amy Winehouse song does surface tomorrow that *might* challenge as well, you never know.

I don't think Nero will get number one at all tbh, Guetta has the strongest chance of being number one this week obviously but I can see Jls hanging on to number one to at least Thursday. Jls also have physicals to help them. It will be a very interesting chart battle.

JLS' physicals won't be very high at all. Anyone who wanted a JLS physical would surely have bought it in the first week and there was a whole other full week since then...

I think Tuesday mids will be like this:

1 JLS

2 Nero (wouldn't be surprised if they were #1 tomorrow though)

3 David Guetta

4 Christina Perri

5 Cher Lloyd

But I have no idea what the top 5 will look like on Sunday :o

I think Christina is going to get the number one. I see her climbing to number one this time tomorrow.. Nero will be number 3.

I think Christina is the least likely, now she has been put back up to 99p. If the price was still 59p, then she would have a good chance. People are forgetting that with 'Guilt', it didn't even go top 10 on iTunes but still charted at #6 in the first midweek. Nero seem to sell very strongly elsewhere, not just from iTunes.

I don't think being put back to 99p will affect Perri that much, I can see her climbing to #1 anyway... part of me wants her to slow down a bit and let Nero overtake so they get the #1 boost :kink: But honestly I don't really mind who gets #1, I like all 4 of the contenders.

Out of the 4 contenders:

JOH >>>>> Promises > SMMW >>>> Little Bad Girl

I do love Promises and I really like SMMW plus I like LBG. It's just JOH is totally amazing and stunning

JOH>>>>>>>> LBG >>Promises >>>>>> SMMW

I just can't see Christina doing it though :(

About Guilt, I remember it had two versions in the top 30 on iTunes, which might be how it got top 10 without going there on iTunes.

Promises >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jar Of Hearts >>> She Makes Me Wanna >>>>>>>>>> Little Bad Girl

But as I say, I do like all of them.

Promises has a second version just outside the top 100 and the EP is top 5 on iTunes Albums.

Can anyone have a look where JLS/Guetta/Perri/Nero are on other download sites?

Hmm, that's not great.

If I remember correctly however, even with the 30 odd version, it was still only at #11 as the gap between #10 and #11 was HUGE that week. It was very close to #10 combined, yes, but I don't think it ever managed it. It might of in the end up, but even then, it would have only been #9 or #10, and I am quite sure it didn't manage it, so #6 in the first midweek was very impressive.

Nero not top 40...

Well, Nero have... er... 12'' vinyls  That might give them about another 50 sales :P
Wait, after only a few days of not checking iTunes update, Christina Perri is already top 10 on iTunes UK? :o
I don't think I've ever seen the top of the iTunes chart looking as tight as it now is! :o

I'm still surprised at how Christina Perri has seemingly come out of nowhere to challenge for #1 :o

Thank you 59p reduction and Heart! :D
