I was hoping for the usual "white top" + "water" formula, but I'm guessing that's not what happens then. :(

She did only shoot in one day though, because of X-Factor. I like the water idea but it's a good video considering the quick shoot.

But the point is the sales held up and were strong in the continuing weeks - so there is nothing to not assume that wont happen with their next releases - sure you could argue that Ed Sheeran might not see the same sort of longevity as TAT was the break through single - however considering what type of artist he is, I can see YNMIDNY still having strong sales in its second week.

 

I would say the 2nd week sales of both Example and Ed Sheeran may still be enough to stay in the top 2 - both have had a good year already - and yes the sales will drop off compared to the 1st week; but no doubt will still be selling well

 

Of course, you're assuming they'll get into the top 2 in the first place...

 

 

I can't believe JLS are at #1, they probably can do about 70 to 75k for the week, as for Cher could end up just short on 65 to 70k

I agree with this tbh. I think it'll go top 40, but not much else. It's getting a lot of Radio 2 support, I think, but their audience don't really download songs very much.

Brilliant to see Calvin, Emeli and Wretch all top 40. I thought Nero would be as well given they're released tomorrow but meh.

 

Ed ahead of Example I see - I think Example has been available for longer though. That could be a really interesting battle, it's very difficiult to call it at this stage :o

To say JLS are probably falling quite a bit too, it's pretty embarrassing how fast Cher is falling. Shes down to 0.79 already!
