And it's kind of funny that these frontloaded #1s aren't The Wanted and JLS! :o

But the quality of music atm is MUCH MUCH better than back in February/March, which is what's important.

When did I say that being #18 already was bad ? And all I was doing was making an early prediction of where I think the song will peak on iTunes, which people do all the time. I don't think she will have any performances, she is so busy recording US X Factor, I don't think she would come over here, well not until the UK X Factor live shows at least. And to be fair, 'Wet' is all over music channels already, so as much as I think it still has some climbing to go, I just can't see it going all the way to the top 10.

ok babe thats fine.

I still think it will be in top 10 :P

JLS are actually falling quite a bit now - it's odd that it's taken it until week 4 to start properly falling though. (Some of its fall can be attributed to the new releases but even ignoring them it's dropped a good 3 or 4 places and been overtaken by older songs such as The A Team)

I think it's a bit too early to assume Wretch will end up being a 'non-#1', it probably will be but I'd wait a few weeks before claiming that :P

I think these barrages of new entries at #1 may just be a summer thing, we'll see if it continues into the first 6 months of 2012 but I don't think it will.

Or at least it's more pronounced in the summer anyway, it has been this year and last year.

Oh GOD, BMTL was bad enough, we don't need My Immortal to be re-charting as well -_- 'Broken Strings' and 'Stronger' are in no need either. The rest are alright though.

Yay! Roll Up is back!! :cheer:

Great to see 50 Cent, Eminem and Kanye West climbing too, except all of their songs were, um, relatively big the first time around.

My immortal arguably one of the most depressing songs I have heard in years.
My Immortal for top 40

I shall rephrase that as:

YAY! BMTL recharting was brilliant, and now My Immortal hopefully recharting! Awesome! Broken Strings and Stronger are good too. The rest are good as well.

So I disagree with you. -_-

Ooft. 'My Immortal' AND 'Hurt'?! Amazing 59p choice songs

I have a thing for depressing songs. They uplift me. They tend to be so full of emotion, that's probably the main reason.

I agree.

My Immortal is fantastic. In the third verse you can really hear the emotion in Amy Lee's voice. Emotion the 95% of music everyone buys these days are lacking.

Ooh, I actually didn't see 'Hurt' in that list the first time! That is a fantastic choice, brilliant version of the song, far better than the original. Hopefully it'll climb a bit more. 'Stan' is also a very welcome re-entry.

Emotion does not automatically = good though.
