I agree, also British people will be hearing it on their holidays if they've gone to Europe, so I reckon it'd probably do better if it was released soon (within the next 2 weeks).

At one time it was quite common for the "big summer European hit" to get its UK release in late August/early September. Maybe this fake version has been added to test the waters and see how successful the track could potentially be.

I think the best example of this was when the fake version of 'When Love Takes Over' went top 10 purely on the fact people were getting too impatient for the David Guetta version that the record company really had no option but to release the track earlier than planned. Dare I say had it been released even earlier than planned it could well have denied Pixie Lott getting a debut #1 and possibly could've had 2 weeks at the top. Sadly the momentum had passed by the time of its offcial release hence 'Sexy Bitch' bizarrely became the bigger selling single of 2009 (although I guess it had two versions to boost its sales).

I recall Sexy Bitch was released quite early to prevent the same thing that happened to WLTO (it did kind of affect its momentum as you said) and as a result, it peaked at the height of its hype and it continued to have a good chart run, I think that's what happened anyway :P

there was a fake version of LP in the top 1000 in the 200s at some point last month :o I can only assume it dropped out or was removed

I'm so bored of his material. Everything besides Who's That Chick has been sooo generic.

How the HELL is 'Titanium' generic?! I'll give you that 'Where Them Girls At' and 'Little Bad Girl' are embarrassingly generic though.

You & I  #73 + #154

Edge of Glory :left: #33 + #104 + #186 + #696

I Wanna Go  #124

Edited by MrGaGa

Not sure if anyone noticed it before just seen Next To You back up to 99p, think it was 79p for quite a while. (#24)

A shame Florence & The Machine isnt climbing from #9 yet, but its done really well to get there! :D

Wet #19, 59p not budging it, should get top 20 still though just about.

Are The Saturdays not putting All Fired Up up for pre-order?

Agreed.

Having SIA on vocals for one is the DEFINITION of non-generic.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet or not but today marks 10 years since Aaliyah died. Does anyone know if she's had some sort of boost here in the charts? Don't think she has but just wondering and also felt that I should mention incase anyone didn't know that it was today.

Aaliyah - I Care 4 U

Christina Perri back up to 4!

I could well see this getting to number 1 later on this year, after an inevitable X Factor contestant performance!

Great to see Bombay Bicycle Club, The Vaccines and Two Door Cinema Club all doing well. Hoping Shuffle can get a new peak on Sunday, and then maybe again next week because of the album release!
RE The Sats - All Fired Up IS available for pre-order, however it isn't listed on the albums charts for some reason. It's been available for a few weeks.
Glad Jealousy is still holding up pretty well, I thought it would be out of the top 10 by now!

It's not listed in the iTunes album chart because the pre-order is titled 'All Fired Up - Single', so the pre-order's will count to the iTunes singles chart instead.

Christina Perri back up to 4!

I could well see this getting to number 1 later on this year, after an inevitable X Factor contestant performance!

I thinhk that's a little optimistic - but I too am delighted she's outlasting the songs that frustrated her last week! :D

[03] 03| Maroon 5 feat. Christina Aguilera - Moves Like Jagger (Studio Recording from the Voice Performance) (also #84, Soul Seekerz Radio Edit #167)

glad this is holding up. Heard this on Capital finally last night. I really hope Radio 1 jumps on it soon too (Im not sure they will though).

Next week i hope the top 3 is:

1. You need me, I don't need you - Ed Sheeran

2. Stay Awake - example

3.Moves like Jagger - Maroon 5 f/ Xtina

That's what I think the top 3 will be next week.

I still haven't heard Moves Like Jagger on Capital. I haven't heard Swagger Jagger either, so I'm thinking they might be reluctant to play songs with "Jagger" in the title.

However, I have heard Jealousy be played, and I also heard Nicki Minaj's new song, Fly, on there.

Next week i hope the top 3 is:

1. You need me, I don't need you - Ed Sheeran

2. Stay Awake - example

3.Moves like Jagger - Maroon 5 f/ Xtina

I still think Example will be ahead of Ed Sheeran, but Ed will have more longevity. Maroon 5 could easily spend up to 7 weeks T10 too - Example will be lucky to have 4 weeks unfortunately :(

Fake Loca People at 152 :cheer: R1 can't ignore this now, will be worried if it's not on their playlist next week. A big top 3 SMASH like "Barbra Streisand" did last year would be amazing
