Added Misha B and Frankie Cocozza singles + JLS' new album.

Misha's top 10 hit makes '11 the second series (after '10) to produce four acts that had top 10 hits and the first to produce four acts who had a single with a one-digit peak. However, only one act from '11 has had a #1, compared to 3 from each of '10 and '08. Misha is the 20th act from XF in total to get a top 10 single, of which only six haven't had a #1.

Series of XF by number of top 10 acts (excluding the Finalists charity singles):

XF 2011: 4 (Little Mix #1x2, Amelia Lily #2, Marcus Collins #9, Misha B #9)

XF 2010: 4 (One Direction #1x2, Cher Lloyd #1, Matt Cardle #1, Rebecca Ferguson #10)

XF 2008: 3 (JLS #1x6, Alexandra Burke #1x3, Diana Vickers #1)

XF 2009: 3 (Olly Murs #1x3, Joe McElderry #1, Jedward #2)

XF 2005: 2 (Chico #1, Shayne Ward #1)

XF 2004: 2 (Steve Brookstein #1, G4 #9)

XF 2006: 1 (Leona Lewis #1x3)

XF 2007: 1 (Leon Jackson #1)

JLS become the first XF act to get 4 top 3 albums (and indeed 4 top 10 albums) and they're only the second after Joe McElderry to get 4 albums anywhere in the top 200.

zobbel.de is yet to update for last week so there may possibly be 101-200 entries that haven't been added yet.

They didn't, or else they'd be in the first post.

Updated. Added new Vince Kidd single (thanks for the reminder), 'DNA' single and album, 'Little Things', 'Take Me Home', various album tracks from 'Take Me Home' and 'Troublemaker'. Little Mix probably went top 200 with 'Change Your Life' but waiting for zobbel.de to update to add it in.

One Direction did provide the 30th XF act #1 as I'd originally predicted a couple of months ago, it was just with a different song :P And Olly has got the 31st XF act #1. With 'Troublemaker', the number of XF #1 singles by non-winners has now overtaken the number of #1s by winners (13 by winners and 14 by non-winners, not including the 4 charity singles which are all a mixture of both). I'm not sure if this is the first time the non-winners' total has got ahead, nonetheless the winner of the current series will almost certainly make it equal again in a couple of weeks.

Also interesting to note Flo Rida has now got 2 #1 singles as a featured artist for XF acts.

'Take Me Home' further increases the domination of non-winners over #1 albums - there are only 5 #1 albums by winners but 7 by non-winners. Leona Lewis is still the only act with more than one #1 album so One Direction have become the 7th non-winning act to get a #1 album, compared to only 4 winners. Little Mix's album failing to hit #1 isn't helping the winners' cause (and a non-winning act, Olly Murs, will almost certainly become the second XF act to get 2 #1 albums this Sunday). However, it narrowly avoided making Little Mix the second winning act to not get a top 3 album, after Leon Jackson.

'Take Me Home' is also only the third 'second album' by an XF act to improve on the peak of the debut, after Olly Murs also went from a #2 to a #1 and Joe McElderry went from a #3 to a #2.

Added 'Change Your Life' from the week before last and Olly Murs' new album from last week (as well as updating the peak of One Direction's 'Kiss You' which has entered the top 100 due to its use on the TalkTalk XF sponsor ads). Possibly more 101-200 entries to come.

Olly Murs feat. Flo Rida's 'Troublemaker' has spent a second week at #1 on the singles chart. Out of 31 #1s by X Factor alumni it's only the 12th to get a second week at #1. 5 of those 12 were winner's singles (Shayne and Leona with 4 weeks each and Leon, Alexandra and Matt 3 each) and another 2 were X Factor Finalists charity singles ('Hero' with 3 weeks and 'Heroes' with 2). The other 4 to previously manage it were Leona Lewis' other two #1s ('Bleeding Love' by far the longest running XF #1 with 7 weeks, then 'Run' with 2), JLS' 'Beat Again' which had 2 and - really - Chico's 'It's Chico Time' which also had 2 weeks.

Leona Lewis' 'Spirit' is the only #1 album by an X Factor act to last more than one week at #1, going way above that with 8 weeks at #1. Olly's new album could well become the second.

Olly Murs charted at #179 with album track 'Dear Darlin'' (aided by a performance on The Xtra Factor).
I believe Leona's "Glassheart" charted at #167 the week of the album release. So you might want to add that in :)

Thank you, you're right, missed that one out when I did the update for that week!

Is Leona Lewis - Lovebird going to be the lowest charting Official Single Release?

I.E a song with a video and tv performances/promotion.

Updated peak of 'Kiss You' and added James Arthur, the 32nd X Factor alumnus #1 and equalising the number of #1s by winners and non-winners again (14 by both, plus the 4 Finalists charity singles). He's the 9th winner out of 9 to go to #1 with his winner's single of course, but time will tell if he will be the fourth to get a further #1 single or the fifth to get a #1 album. He probably has a better chance than most male winners.

Nothing else to add now AFAIA and with X Factor season over again the new additions will become more sparse again.

Added JLS 'Hold Me Down' (thanks to Jay for the position :P)

James Arthur looks set to get the first ever single by an X Factor alumnus to have two separate runs at #1, as he's likely to return to #1 this week after being dethroned by The Justice Collective.

Does "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" count as it features Rebecca Ferguson?

Nope, I'm counting solo hits by members of groups but not the other way round (with the exception of the X Factor Finalists charity singles).

Updated anyhow. James Arthur as per my last post has got the first ever XF-related #1 to have 2 runs at #1, going 1-2-1-1 in his first 4 weeks. Amelia Lily gets the first new XF hit of 2013, with 2 others re-peaking in these first weeks of 2013 (One Direction's 'Kiss You' and Little Mix's 'Change Your Life' which spent a week in the top 200 last year so doesn't quite count as a new 2013 hit).

I didn't realise JLS had 5 #1s :o The most succesful X factor act in that department!!! Although I think Olly will leapfrog them soon enough :)

Impressive that James has managed to spend 7 weeks in the Top 10 - Especially as it has been such a strong seller. His 7 week tally makes him the second longest running Top 10 winners single behind Shayne Ward in 2005, He has also spent more weeks in the Top 3 [5 in total] than any other previous winners single.

2005: Shayne Ward - That's My Goal: 1-1-1-1-5-6-7-10 [8 Weeks]

2012: James Arthur - Impossible: 1-2-1-1-3-7-9 [7 Weeks]

2006: Leona Lewis - A Moment Like This: 1-1-1-1-6 [5 Weeks]

2008: Alexandra Burke - Hallelujah: 1-1-1-3-6 [5 Weeks]

2010: Matt Cardle - When We Collide: 1-1-1-2-5 [5 Weeks]

2004: Steve Brookstein - Against All Odds: 2-1-2 [4 Weeks]

2007: Leon Jackson - When You Believe: 1-1-1-5 [4 Weeks]

2009: Joe McElderry - The Climb: 2-1-2 [3 Weeks]

2011: Little Mix - Cannonball: 1-2-6 [3 Weeks]
