Wow, so glad FITS has risen so much after being used on X Factor. I hope someone actually sings it, it could even go top 10 :o. It would be amazing if it managed to go top 40 this week.

I think it has more to do with Adele being on the Jonathan Ross show and not X Factor. Other Adele songs are also climbing.

I think it's the combination of the two. No one can deny the impact X Factor has on the charts these days, even if the performance wasn't as good as hyped.

I think Adele just being mentioned/played anywhere makes all her songs climb. Like last week on X Factor, Rolling in the Deep, Set Fire to the Rain and one of her album tracks which I've forgotten were played, and Someone Like You started climbing.

Did she sing SLY? I thought she wasn't going to and I didn't watch.

I own SLY without ever downloading it or buying the album-it's on Now 79 :kink:

I'm not denying the impact of the XF but this year I don't think we've had any song made the top 40 because of it, Your Song nearly did it but that's it.

Well, we've only had 2 episodes to judge it on so far, and it did make The Edge of Glory climb like 8 places or something.

I can already see this thread is going to be on fire all of today !

Adele climbs, Leona climbs, new songs being released, going to be a busy thread!

ugh. I'm now beginning to hate 'someone like you'. maybe not on the same scale as 'rolling in the deep', but the amount of people buying it who have no doubt already heard it anyway is making it hard to cope with. I seriously hope it avoids the top 10.

Really not keen on stay awake,

Would much rather Ed Sheeran was number 1, his song is genius!

Or of course Olly Murs for another week 'cause I'm an Olly loon

Where you getting these from? I have FITS at #77 and Run is only at #193?

it beggars belief that there are STILL people who need X Factor to remind them of SLY :drama: I will be very annoyed if this keeps on bouncing up and down the charts

112 users reading the thread :o I wouldn't be surprised if there's a new thread tomorrow

Me too! I think i'm just going to leave it and go to bed & check in the morning :heehee:

Woo just got Melanie C's song, love the remixes. Hope iTunes updates soon!!

With only really Radio 2 support, Melanie C should at most scrape top 75 / top 100. Should be higher though, it's her best single since "On The Horizon".

I still think Leona has a much larger fanbase than Pixie, so she should chart higher. What we should fear most is where the Sugababes will land the week after. -_-

20. The Saturdays - All Fired Up :cheer:

113. Pixie Lott - All About Tonight (What A Start For Her)

168. Leona Lewis - Collide
