Issues was a post-album single though. How could they of held that back?

That's what I thought as well

What are you two going on about? The song wasn't held back, and it climbed into the top 10, spent 4 weeks in there, 13 weeks in the top 40, and peaked at #4. This proves The Saturdays can do well without holding their songs back. I'm not talking about whether they could've done or not, I'm talking about the fact that they didn't (they couldn't), and it did well.

Chasing Lights was out after Up, Issues charted at something like 86 that week but when it was officially released a couple of months later it peaked at 3. So it wasn't held back as it was already available!
I've just thought, since Glee is now moving to Thursdays they're probably not gonna get any songs in the top 40 since there is only a few days sales...

Eric is saying it *wasn't* held back... that's his whole point.

I bloody hope so.

Great to see Maroon 5 holding on at #2. With a chart run of (03-03-02-02) so far, I think it'd be interesting to see it hold on a #2 for a third week in the row. Unless One Direction sales are big on the second week, I think a One Direction/Maroon 5 battle for #1 isn't out of the question.

Surprised to see Leona Lewis dropping so quickly to, I'd have thought second week sales would've improved. Saying that, with only one new addition to the top 10 it should be Ed Sheeran dropping out, so singles (bar Leona) will all just shift down a place.

I didn't see his post, I was responding to the others

And on the whole Glee thing, as it's moving to Sky1 and some fans may not have Sky1, then I think it'll become less popular anyway. People will watch online if they don't have Sky1 (like me) and are big fans (like me). I'm not even bothered about them getting top 40s anyway.

The Glee songs will also have less front-loaded chart runs now, since if it airs on Thursday, they only really get Friday and Saturday sales, and I think days 3-9 of sales would normally be higher than days 1-2 or sales. They might still be released on the Sunday before though, perhaps.

Will the next season of Glee air at the same time as the US now (or within a week or two of when the episodes air in the US)?

While I would love Maroon 5 to get a week at least, I'd imagine Dappy could well be #1 next week (if not it'll surely debut at #2 behind OD). The following week Sak Noel could well do it and after that I doubt Maroon 5 will be selling that much to challenge. I think this was the last week it had any real chance it do it :-(

I think Sak Noel could "do a Duck Sauce, 'Barbara Streisand'". But knowing the UK public, now I've predicted that, it'll go all the way and get to number 1 :puke:
Leona back up to #8... i know example is still ahead combined, but there's very little movement at the top end of itunes... cant see that changing much all week :-S

I could see Marry You going back in the top 10 (on iTunes) this week.

Maybe Moves Like Jagger can get #1 next week if Dappy doesn't do as well as people are predicting, and if One Direction's sales drop enough.

One Direction currently have the most popular song, IN THE WORLD atm! :o

Although really Moves Like Jagger is still bigger, since it's #3 and #11, but still.

Also Pixie's lead increased from 9-10% from The Saturdays.

There's no way that can be accurate unless he knows the sales in each country, which he can't, so it's kind of pointless  .

Hold up - Dolly Parton almost top 40? How on earth did this happen?
All About Tonight was played on The Xfactor though, quite a heavily play around 1-2minutes so I expected it to increase.

Oh, well good for her I suppose  It's quite a good song tbf! Anyone know where she was officially this week? And she'd be the oldest person in ages to have a top 40 assuming she gets there, I can't remember anyone of around her age having a top 40 this year tbh?
