The ALBUM is coming out in November. They've already released it to iTunes in America and it's got 24spins+ on POP already. They'll probably release it here on Sunday. I can't see Sak Noel beating it to #1. This IS Rihanna we're talking about. :lol:

The Rihanna track sounds a bit generic as someone pointed out, is it really out this weekend, if the track gets more promo elsewhere it could be a dark horse. Personally with Sak Noel out on Sunday its got no chance.

how exactly will it beat possibly the most anticipated release atm (the fake versions back that up) with just the fact it's her and no promotion? remember Where Dem Girls At & Born This Way....

shocking to see 'one day' that high for no particular reason except for it being used on their advert for the music video competition. oh well. I'm not complaining. it's their best song. :wub:

I thought the music video competition for LMFAO was broadcast ages ago - and I don't recall it receiving any additional downloads on the back of the advert at the time. Nice to see them not completely vanishing from iTunes though.

 

In regards to #1 next week, I don't think Rihanna will be able to manage a #1, but saying that I don't think Sak Noel will get #1 either. It's going to have plenty of downloads sure, but a lot of people buying the fake versions are the same people waiting to buy the real version - people waiting for the original + people buying the fakes = total sales - is not necessarily true.

 

What other singles are released Sunday then - do we have Gym Class Heroes ft. Adam Levine's 'Stereo Heart' to look forward to?

Just was announced that the new Rihanna single is out on 14th November according to Radio 1 therefore it won't be out next week. It is out the same week as the Children In Need track though so could be quite competitive that week!
