294. Video Games (Tribute to Lana Del Rey) - The Tributers

An indie song has a fake version? :o

Loca People will either be MASSIVE or do a Like A G6/Black And Yellow which were so successful in terms of fake versions, but people loved the song, and not the artist. What I mean is it's in danger of having so many people downloading the fake version and not really caring who the actual artist is, that it jeapoudises (sp?) any chance of reaching #1. I think it will reach #2, because of this reason, but I'm not ruling it being a huge #1 smash! :P I hate the song though so IMO it shouldn't even grace the Top 1,000,000,000.

I wouldn't call 'Video Games' indie. It does seem a bit odd that a song of that nature has a fake version though! (Although 'Jar Of Hearts' has one too)

I hope this is a smash.

There aren't even a billion sales every week, let alone a billion unique songs... there probably aren't even a billion songs available to download.

I hope this is a smash.

Me too. What a brilliant song! It'd be great to have Sean Paul back in the charts too.

I hope both Sak Noel and Maroon 5 can get a week at #1 each, as I think they're both great, and huge songs.

Also hope Stereo Hearts can get #1. It's so catchy, and would make up for Opposite of Adults not doing as well as it deserved.

Okay, I've completely lost you here.

I really hate how many fake versions of songs that show up these days. People will do anything for cash without thinking at all of the people who actually went to the effort of making the song. But maybe the labels should stop holding them back then!

That was Chiddy Bang wasn't it? So I'm lost too, though the two songs do sound remotely similar in the verses, but that's it. :P

Shush Bray. :P

Yeah, that's what I meant. The songs sound similar, so since Chiddy Bang didn't get that massive smash that their brilliant song deserved, hopefully at least Stereo Heart do really well. I guess Opposite of Adults was just a bit too far ahead of its time.

Yeah, Opposite of Adults did very well, but I think it deserved to do even better than it did, if you know what I mean! :D

All of Adele's songs have climbed a bit again. I think she's just going to climb whenever X Factor is on now, even if she isn't performed.

3. Iris - The Goo Goo Dolls

MASSIVE X FACTOR BOOST!

7. Loca People (Radio Edit) - Sak Noel

23. Loca People (Original Mix) - Sak Noel

54. Loca People (UK Radio Edit) - Sak Noel

Loca People underperforming a little?

Not much has happened while this has been away. So glad its back :w00t:

Britser posted the pop bars over on the back-up site, and Iris wasn't far from 2 :o

woo, we're back :D the back up site wouldn't let me post for some reason

anyway, I can't say I'm surprised Sak Noel has really been hurt by all the fakes, I still think it will get to number 1 but it probably isn't gonna be as big as expected, however I'm more happy to see IRIS at 3 :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: genuinely one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard    and this is higher than Cannonball ever got on Itunes, so it looks like it could just about get a top 5 place by sunday :D

Eww. I don't mind 'Iris' being so high, it's just I'm annoyed that it was HIM that got the performance of it to go Top 5!
Frankie's performance of Iris was crap  I guess so many people had to download the original to remind themselves that it in fact wasn't so shit and restore faith.
