September 21, 201113 yr Really wish they'd just piss off now. They release something at the same time each year just to get an X Factor performance out of it...hopefully with this being a Greatest Hits it'll finally be the end.
September 21, 201113 yr If they get an X Factor performance this year... I don't know what I'd do! :drama: They've been releasing the same old shit for years now!
September 21, 201113 yr Definite X-Factor performance, and this will just be Flying Without Wings part 782 as usual... I mean why? Can they not just move with the times a bit, they've like never done a single decent song imo
September 21, 201113 yr considering Safe only just made the top 10 by the skin of their teeth, this could well miss the top 10 :o I do hate the fact that they just perform on X Factor, get a quick top 10 hit that disappears within a few weeks, release an album that also disappears shortly, have no second single, wait a year - rinse, lather, repeat, its just so blatant they've just become a money sign :( still, now that they're with a new label, maybe they can actually get a second single, also they're not guaranteed an XF performance as they're not with Syco any more? September 21, 201113 yr They will deffo get an X Factor performance. It's their last release with SYCO, so Simon will drain as much out of them as he can.
September 21, 201113 yr Author N'aww look at all you closet fans you were all in here very quickly. ;) Well I for one am looking forwards to this. Especially the new album tracks. :)
September 21, 201113 yr 'Closet fans'? LOL. Gary Barlow written new single? Are they ever going to just admit they want to be TT? Edited September 21, 201113 yr by Bré
September 21, 201113 yr Ive always hated westlife and there stupid release strategy. But credit where credits due - They also hates the cover song and album with X Factor performance each year! So they changed record label and will for once release an original song!
September 21, 201113 yr I'm not a fan of Westlife one bit but Safe was original from what I could remember as was Us Against the world and those were their better song IMO. Edited September 21, 201113 yr by Rob Summers
September 21, 201113 yr They will deffo get an X Factor performance. It's their last release with SYCO, so Simon will drain as much out of them as he can. oh, this is their last release with Syco? meh, rinse, lather, repeat once more then :( Edited September 21, 201113 yr by C.W
September 21, 201113 yr I have the following to say regarding Westlife: f*** OFF AND DIE YOU USELESS SHITS.
September 22, 201113 yr I have to admit, I liked Westlife when they first came out but they kinda seem like old hat now. Their second greatest hits set is unlikely to do as well as the first, given the fact they arent as popular anymore and there are a couple of new boybands now on the scene who are proving far more popular and have a more contemporary sound.
September 22, 201113 yr Awful, I'm glad they don't have the same foothold in the industry that they used to. 'World Of Our Own' is their only sole decent track ever.
September 22, 201113 yr 'Closet fans'? LOL. Gary Barlow written new single? Are they ever going to just admit they want to be TT? Maybe they ARE one and the same! Have they ever all been in the same room together? Kath
September 23, 201113 yr Author More news: There will be 6 new songs on their, 2 more than originally reported. And one of the songs is called 'Beautiful World' it's written by Mark Feehily, Ruth Anne Cunningham and John Shanks, it was originally supposed to serve as the lead single, but they changed to Lighthouse at the last minute. Quotes from Kian earlier in the year means this is supposed to be an uptempo. Edited September 23, 201113 yr by Electro Paradise
September 23, 201113 yr I think you mean 'Beautiful Tonight', the song that was supposed to be the second single from the last album but they scrapped it due to it (inevitably) breaking their top 10 streak
September 23, 201113 yr No, it's "Beautiful World". It's on Daily Star Not a Take That, Utada Hikaru cover.
