2 Shoes - 10/10

COME ON! I get that you love them and they are great fun but the vocals were all over the shop and the staging was so tacky...

I adored the trashy aspect of it. I am partial to the odd bit of utter tack and trash.

Alright, but Stacey Solomon did it better.
Wow. They really are saving the best for last tonight (obviously not including Janet in that!).

01 Misha 9.5/10 - EFFIN YES. I started to dislike Misha recently, and then she did THAT. So glad to hear Rolling In The Deep done differently, loved the production, the whole thing. LOVE.

02 Kitty 9.5/10 - I hate her. But, that was amazing. Vocally superb, she didn't over-do it. I'm not gonna compare it to Stacey's - I'm just gonna enjoy it for what it is.

03 Craig 9/10 - Fantastic. He showed a great range, he could hit the high pitched notes really well. SO impressed, and I'm a really big fan.

04 Sophie 8.5/10 - Not because she sung Katy Perry - but because of how understated and mellow and OOOH BEAUTIFUL it was.

05 The Risk 7.5/10 - Really enjoyed that, and no, I'm not shocked they were good on 'first time together'. The fact they didn't pull up their shirts helped their likeability too.

06 Amelia 7/10 - Verses good, chorus a bit iffy and strained. I did it enjoy it, but probably only enjoyed it loads because I really wanted to love it.

07 Sami 7/10 - It was pretty good, was really good to see her doing something upbeat. Nothing much to say, but I enjoyed it.

08 2 Shoes 6.5/10 - Gonna rate them on the singing/performance, rather than the fact they're Essex girls. It was good, but only good. Essex Booty Luv FTW.

09 Frankie 6.5/10 - A bit bland, but he was decent - and this is coming from somebody who hates him. It all felt a bit too slow - it was like he wanted to speed it up, but the backing track wouldn't let him. That did suit him though.

10 Rhythmix 6/10 - Better than I expected. It was a bit messy, and the harmonies were off - but there was something weirdly enjoyable about it.

11 Marcus 6/10 - So many 'just good' performances tonight. It was decent, the vocals were very good - but not that interesting. I'll forget about that by the end.

12 Nu Vibe 6/10 - Decent, but it was all a bit too energetic, in that it affected their vocals. And, I've deducted a point for that irritating shirt lift. SRSLY?! WHY?!

13 Jonjo 5/10 - He's not bad, but there's no way to sing that song and not sound karaoke? Poor song choice, decently sung - but overall, pretty forgettable!

14 Jonny 5/10 - 1.5 for vocals, 3.5 for humour. I just kinda sat there shaking my head and laughing. It's exactly how I see Mikey doing a performance, if he were to go on X Factor.

15 James 2/10 - I REALLY wanted him to come out really good, and not be eliminated, because I really like him. But it was boring, and flat.

I really hated her audition but I thought that was very good actually :o

LOLZ.

But true dat. She was good.

Completely shocked by that, amazing performance! She really has got the vox. I don't even think she's that annoying, she seems quite sweet when it comes down to it.
Up to the utter blandness of some of the other acts, Kitty is odd but great!

I liked the performance, it was really strong. But her whole attitude and fame hungry whore-ness is just so repulsive.

Hmm. Kitty was good, but after Craig, I wasn't impressed. Technically promising, though. Looking forward to seeing Janet, but oh, this is a bit of a slog now.

Audience actually AGOG at that Kitty perf. It was strong! It started off slightly shaky but she really got into it mid way through.

Kitty - I have to say I actually thought Kitty was very good, especially in the chorus, she smashed the bit notes. The first verse was a little bit out of tune though, but I think that was just nerves. Still not keen on her as a character, but she can sing. - 7.5/10.0

Kitty - Who Wants To Live Forever

The beauty of the track is how it builds up to a massive climax towards the end. It also gave us a chance to her Kitty stripped to just her vocals and she has a great vocal range. Kitty was clearly very nervous at the start - on the close up of her I could see the microphone visably shaking in her hands. The big chorus must've made her relax. Another good performance coming towards the end of tonight's very 50/50 opening show.
