"Billy Jean" vocals aren't that great, but I do like the faux-rock arrangement of that song.

That was a moment of ALL DRAMA and not much substance. Ropey yelling vox ahoy.

Amelia is a star in the making but the song did not suit her. Louis needs to go every year the same rubbish and the audience need to be quiet.

Well, I'd give that a 6/10. It was enjoyable to listen, and she has a lot of energy. I love that rocky-synthy thing she has going on. Hopefully she'll get through, but the vocals could let her down.

Could someone please explain the correct definition of the word 'incredible' to Miss Lily?

The verses were really good. The chorus was a bit ropey, in particular the 'but the kid' - just them 3 words were a bit strained. However, I do see a hell of a lot of potential, just not the best song choice for her.

Oh God, Yeo Valley have a new song, and it's inspired by the Wanted. This is why I try to avoid the ad breaks.

Not the best song choice for her, I would have prefered her to sing a Kelly Clarkson track, bit ropey in places 6.5/10

Very 'Xtina-Stripped'-ish.

Verses were very good. The first chorus was HORRENDOUS, the second was alright but not wonderful.

She probably means something like "the buzz backstage is absolutely incredible"

 

As for her performance, Very strong start but not exactly up to a standard I thought I was going to hear from her. I'll give it a 7.5/10

I'm running 10mins behind as the end of the recorded Masterchef was more important, plus I can skip the first two ad breaks ^_^

annoyingly, my player cut out for most of that so my scoring can't start here :( however I am loving the Yeo Valley advert :lol: :wub:

The show is looking quite slick this year. I'm liking it.

Amelia - 7.0/10.0

 

Thought the verses were really good, however the arrangement was awful and the chorus sounded strained. Not as good as I was expecting from Amelia, but a rather good start to the show anyway.

Billie Jean was awful. Just awful. She couldn't keep up with the backing track. She's better than that.

I rather like the instrumental to this, but I don't think the vocal was good enough, nor was it well suited to the track.
