I remember my last five!

Lady Gaga - Bad Romance (December 2009)

Wiley - Take That (December 2009)

Sidney Samson - Riverside (February 2010)

Timbaland feat Katy Perry - If We Ever Meet Again (February 2010)

And then a big gap until...

Cee-Lo Green - Forget You (October 2010)

I couldn't decide if I liked the 'Forget' or other version better, so bought the CD with both :P That ended up as my last.

The HMV I bought the last one from has since closed down (Bond Street), and in Oxford Circus today I couldn't find any singles anywhere. I've got a picture I took in Zavvi in early 2008 which looks like a whole other universe now...a whole wall of the store dedicated to CD singles, every song in the top 40 there. I took the photo as I knew that it probably wouldn't last long, and after that (as with all the HMVs) it became a smaller and smaller shelf, buried in the back of the store until it disappeared.

Bizarre to think how much it's all changed in such a short amount of time...from every top 40 song on CD this time in 2007, to hardly any now!

Cher Lloyd 'Swagger Jagger'.

Just pre-ordered 'With Ur Love' also :) I will be getting Kelly Clarkson 'Mr. Know It All' if there's a physical available.

It would have been a Robyn single, probably Handle Me as I don't think I bought any of them after that.

Tragic really as I used to buy about 10 a week at one point. :(

How could you afford to breathe?

Pretty epically my last Physical CD Single purchase is my all time favourite track, Tone Damli Aaberge - Butterflies.

7" is either Lily Allen - The Fear or Red Blooded Women - You Made Your Bed.

It must've been Mylo vs Miami Sound Machine 'Doctor Pressure'. I remember getting it from HMV. Since then I've only downloaded singles, but I've been given physical CD compilations like NOW for birthdays, Xmas etc.

Nicola Roberts : Lucky Day

Lady Gaga : You & I (Metronomy Mix)

The Drums : Money

Madonna - Celebration

cd melanie c think about it, i have also pre ordered weak.

vinyl was madonna - revolver!

Only collect physicals for the artists above!! I recently got rid of my cd singles collection as i have them all on my itunes, was a little hard to bin around 1000 cds, i used to have a ritual of going to Our Price every monday after school to purchase my singles for the week.

Last CD single I think was "Oh No!" by Marina & The Diamonds (over 12 months ago).

Vinyl singles I still get occasionally, and the last one was The Drums' "Money".
