Yes indeed :) Such a prententious twerp and the song is truly awful. I agree wishful thinking about Cher Lloyd but we can but hope :)

At least Matt hasn't been reduced to going on a second rate singing contest full of Z list singers everyone has forgotten about like your darling Joe did.

Well I think its safe to safe Matt won't allow himself to drop his standards low enough to do it. :P

Matt wouldn't do a covers album even if this album literally sells beans. I knew it wouldn't be long before we got loads of Matt insults in here.
im looking forward to hearing Matt Cardle's album. i think a certain chelsea girl on here needs to herself a favour and think why she calls other people twerps when really its cos she cant stand herself.....

Can we stop with the personal insults please? The artist bashing would be nice too but I'm not getting my hopes up...

From what I've read and a few snippets I've heard - Matt's only mistake was a bad choice of lead song. RFYL (whilst inoffensive and not entirely awful) is possibly the weakest song on the album. Matt should have had more faith in his own writing abilities instead of leaving it to the 'People's Judge' and 'Britain's greatest songwriter'. :)

^The album does sound alot better than RFYL, which I adore though. The b-sides to the single are both very strong songs.

Oh dear it "not allowed an opinion time" again! I don't support Chelsea but you carry on :) A lot of people think he's a twerp and they are entitled to that opinion.

I don't think his entire career can be written off on one single's itunes performance, the album is a million times better and last time I looked it was doing well on pre orders, the 3rd highest pre ordered CD behind Coldplay and Noel at Hmv, currently no 1 on Amazon pre release chart and number 4 in their hourly best sellers of all music current n future with just Adele, Cee Lo and James Morrison ahead of him. He will also blatantly pick up a lot of sales in the supermarket.

He may well be beaten to the number 1 position by Noel, and will definitely be outstripped massively by Coldplay the following week but I expect he will get healthy album sales, the next single alone will help sell the album and there's plenty more potential singles, he's obviously not going to get record breaking sales but should sell comfortably despite an under performing single.

To be honest I doubt it was Matt's choice, and even if it was it's more likely he thought 'Gary BARLOW wrote it, people will LOVE it'. It's not that bad and he sung it really well on XF yesterday, but he probably would have done better with another track.

Then again I expect nothing on his album sounds like LMFAO or is produced by Calvin Harris so perhaps nothings would do well for him singles wise anyway.

I think it's wrong to make personal insults about the artist. If you're commenting on his music it's fine but it's very petty to insult him as a person.

And once again I'm MYSTIFIED as to why Matt is a 'twerp'. He generally comes across as a nice guy when he's on tv. The media try and portray him a certain way but when you see him on XF he's completely different.

OK point taken however the comment is related to music. His constant wanting to somehow portray himself as different from other XF contestants then going on the show to launch his career and promote himself is nauseating. I don't think his career is over if he doesn't get to no1 and I don't go in for labelling people flops so quickly. I do think however, that not getting to no1 might bring his ego down a bit. For the record I think he has a decent voice. He just does himself no favours in my eyes.

Sadly nowhere :(

Oh dear! The video is getting a fair bit of play and radio is just starting to pick up. Fingers crossed things get moving, really rooting for Gina!

i am sorry but your first comment says it is related to music. then however the rest of your statement really isnt about the music, you start off by making a comment about him and not his music. a complete contradiction.....

Thank you. I guess when I say it's related to music I mean that the comments he makes that make him seem pretentious (to some) are related to music and the industry.
