I'm hoping for a Nu Vibe & Frankie bottom two.

With Frankie going (although I really wouldn't care if both got the axe)

I have a feeling the bottom two will be Nu Vibe and Sophie. I'd rather see Marcus in the bottom two instead of Sophie, but I don't think it will happen just yet. I don't dislike the guy, I'm just not a fan of his performances or voice. Initially, I didn't really like Rhythmix either tonight, but for some reason I actually quite liked them in the recap, so I kinda want to give them a chance. Maybe they will grow on me.

If Sophie is in the bottom 2 tomorow I will cut someone!

Nu Vibe are almost certianly going to be in the bottom 2 tomorow. I am not sure who will join them though. It could really be anyone other than The Risk, Frankie, Janet, Misha and Craig, those five I see as being deffinitly safe. The other seven are all at risk.

Gary is full of himself, why does he want to be Head Judge so bad? Apart from a special mug, what's so different about being a Head Judge or a 'regular' judge? I feel kinda bad for Louis, because he's been there for so much longer and I find him more likable.
Odds going all over the place. 'The Risk' have now overtaken Janet as the favourites at 11/4 and Nu Vibe's odds for going are a mile ahead of everyone else at 4/7 while the second most backed to go is Kitty is only 10/1 :o

Ranking for tonight's performances:

01 Rhythmix

02 Sophie

03 Misha

04 Sami

05 Janet

06 The Risk

07 Kitty

10 Johnny

ABSYMAL

11 Frankie

12 NuVibe

Tonight was a bit disappointed, Rhythmix shocked me though by delivering the night's best performance :o Sophie was outstanding vocally, but something was missing on the whole sadly. Misha had the wrong song but as usual she smashed it luckily. Sami would've been higher had she had a less cliched song, but alas Louis was in charge so it was never looking good... Overall, a pretty good night but Frankie, Johnny and NuVibe were absymal, although I guess Johnny was entertaining, whereas Frankie and NuVibe were pure shit. Janet disappointed as well, can't believe the judges raved over it... How average!

Misha for me is still the only one delivering solid performance, and equally one of very few that I see being able to be marketed as an actual artist. I hope all the rumours of being an utter nightmare behind the scenes are kinda true too, it'd only make me love her more. She's effectively Kelly in junior form, which is just marvelous.

I liked Marcus too. But this has nothing to do with the singing.

Kitty was a marvelous hot mess as well. The entire Alice In Wonderland thing was just brilliant. I think I adore her now.

Everyone else is still a bit rubbish. The Risk were decent. Sophie sounded like a deflating whale at times. Frankie's hair probably has woodland creatures living it. Rhythmix had Nelly Furtado weeping from her cave. Craig was good, as was Sami. Johnny will be a full on drag act in a few weeks. My internet died during Janet's performance, for which I am eternally grateful.

Rhythmix and Nu-Vibe bottom 2 perhaps?

Also Kelly needs to stop saying 'PUT IT DOWN'. Last week it was amazing. This week it got repetitive and annoying. And let us just ignore Louis saying 'swagger'. Oh Louis.

The same as last week the big standouts being Miss MISHA B-loved her performance, changed the song to and no rap but hated the outfit.

Craig was very good and is loosing weight but would like to see him move around the stage.

The Risk will make the final and are potential winners.

I like Marcus but again wrong song choice he cannot sing pop songs he needs soul songs he could be bottom two. The same for Sophie she did not impress this week and needed a stonger song, Gary told the truth there is no spark. Nu Vibe or Sami to go both dull. Johnny should go he is becoming a joke and will never have a career.

Unrelated to tonight, but I'm very surprised that Professor Green & Emeli Sande have got themselves a slot on the shows - neither are exactly very big names! :o
I think it's because Simon loves Emeli, she's written for SuBo, Leona and Cher. But really she could've had a slot for Daddy, Professor Green was the last person I expected to see on X-Factor!

I know, what is there intro going to be? '500,000 single sales worldwide sold between them'

NuVibe could be bottom 2 tonight.

Sami was boring, she just showed no emotion, hit the notes yes but just NOTHING. Agree with what Gary said. (and she keeps playing the fat card which is quite annoying now - yes you may be overweight, its not that important dont let it consume you Sami! She's a nice girl though!)

Craig was okay, noone can really tackle a Beyonce song.

Janet was okay, not mad on this performance, but she's still endearing.

Frankie was awful.

Johnny was ridiculous.

Rhytmix were good.

Marcus was okay, Russian Roulette a very hard song to sing, and Rihanna has such a unique voice, its hard to take on a RiRi song.

Misha B is an artist already, ooze's star quality.

The Risk were probably best of the night, got to give it to them a very good group.

Sophie was brilliant, just loving her at the moment.

Kitty vocally is very good, she is this year's katie though.

Bottom 2 tomorrow: NuVibe & (hopefully) Johnny.

Voted for Jonny 8 times

I only caught Nu Vibe, Frankie and Janet as I was on my way out to go an listen to a band in a pub. Nu Vibe were bad, Frankie was awful and Janet was ... Janet.

I'll try and catch up tomorrow.

So I'm going to throw in my own tedious and unnecessary ranking as ever

01. Kitty Louis may be an utterly out of touch old fart, but against all odds he has managed to pull one utterly GENIUS song choice put of his arse here. It couldn't have fitted Kitty any more perfectly. Bonkers, loud and utterly out of place on the X Factor. Very natural and fitting for her, and it was almost FLAWLESS. None of the shakiness that showed up last week. I really can't decide if I'm on board with her or not right now, but a couple more performances like this and I certainly WILL BE.

02. Misha B Wonderful arrangement, and scoring himself another ON-THE-BALL SHOCKER MOMENT, I was completely on board with Louis when he said this could work as a hit in it's own right. I will repeat my sentiment from last week; she is providing EVERYTHING the show demanded (and failed to get) from Cher Lloyd last year. By far the most interesting prospect this year, and I am definitely on TEAM MISHA at the moment.

03. Craig The I'M-A-SURVIVOR mannerisms that plagued his performance tonight were a little TOO queen-like to really work, but vocally he remains pretty much flawless. Despite appearances, there is an odd charisma to this guy.

04. Sami I don't think this was as solid as Free last week; there were a few little tics and shakes throughout, and I agree it was perhaps TOO big a song for someone to try and tackle in that it REALLY exposes the slightest weakness or tremble in the singer's voice. I think she may suffer vote-wise for the fact that she was given SUCH a predictable and old standard to perform at a time when most of the other acts are at pains to make themselves contemporary. I can't see how they're going to successfully market her if she WERE to win (1% of that happening) with Louis so intent on turning her into a 50 year old woman. Both this week and last I forgot she's only a few years older than me.

05. The Risk Everything Nu Vibe aren't. Vocally adept, able to at least put on the appearance of being a tight-knit group even if they aren't, and actually quite CLASSY. Less of a boyband and more of a manband; more Take That, less The Wanted.

06. Rhythmix The surprise of the night. The harmonies were SO much improved on last week's ropey effort, the new arrangement of I'm Like A Bird felt very natural, and there's a certain joy/energy to them. There's a likeability to them that I think every other girlband in X Factor history have lacked (*watches as they're voted out tomorrow*)

07. Marcus I had to agree that this really wasn't the best choice for him. It's always good to try and step out of your comfort zone, but this really DIDN'T reflect Marcus as a personality or an artist at all. The fact that he had to be specifically ORDERED to stop smiling, and indeed barely made it to the end of the performance without doing so, told me that SLIT-YOUR-WRISTS Rihanna tracks just DON'T fit in with him. Capable singer as he is, I think he also struggled to identify the tune in that track, the middle eight/final chorus verging just a little too close to shouty.

08. Janet Her enunciation isn't QUITE as jarring as Vickers, but jarring it is nonetheless. I still think she's a simpering slop who will have her shortcomings and lack of variety brutally exposed as the series progresses.

09. Sophie I'm with Tirren on this; quite disappointing really and I think she's in trouble this weekend (Sophie / Nu Vibe are my predictions for the sing-off tomorrow). It's not so much the fact that she's had no headlines that will harm her, but more so that I can't really see WHO is going to vote for her. Even if she doesn't share Janet's vocal tics, I think Sophie's preference for floaty/acoustic performances steps a little too close to Janet's territory for Sophie to really form a significant fanbase of her own, and even if we disregard that and look at her as a straight-up female diva, nor is she as vocally solid as Sami. I thought she was very shaky and at times came very close to falling off-key tonight. Pleased as I was about it last week, I'm thinking now that Kelly may well have been better off going with Amelia who would have stood a much better chance of progressing here. There's nothing yet to suggest to me that Sophie will be anything other than this year's Lucie Jones.

10. Nu Vibe There's just NO charisma, energy or any sign that they actually WANT to be here. Sapping the life out of whatever song's given to them, they're simply NOT as vocally capable as The Risk, and the harmonies are non-existant. Poor.

11. Frankie Dreadful. Deathly dull during the verses, audibly strained during the chorus. I'm under no illusion that he'll be in the bottom two tomorrow (we are stuck with him for a while), but I'm glad the judges have finally dropped their unconditional support for him.

JOHNNY I'm incapable of ranking this. It was at the same time the BEST and the WORST thing to ever appear on an X Factor show. I genuinely don't know which side I fall on; I half agree that it's a shame he's being turned into an absolute gimmick when it's evident there is SOME sort of a voice there. But at the same time, he simply wouldn't be HALF as entertaining as he is if he were to go serious (note that Wagner left the series last year during the one week he submitted a SERIOUS "real music" performance). Absolutely barmy, and I genuinely spent the whole three minutes in hysterical laughter. I LOVE the banter with the judges as well. He manoeuvered Gary Barlow into dropping the stern headmaster act one shining brief moment, and for that I can only applaud the guy.

As an aside, I realised tonight that I really do prefer this new judging panel. Much as the gays all loved Dannii, and the Heat readers loved Cherly, I'm not missing them at all. The new lot haven't yet got themselves waist-deep in behind-the-scenes politics, and without Simon there, there's no top dog that the others all feel the need to defer to. The interactions feel FREE and much more genuine. Gary fills Simon's bad-cop act perfectly, but WITHOUT openly playing puppet-master or feeling the need to dominate proceedings. Tulisa is Cherly with the ability to offer actual useful criticism, and Kelly is Dannii with human warmth.

I'll do my rankings tomorrow after I've had a chance to catch up properly, K RO had me in tears of laughter though. This judging panel is EXACTLY what the show needed. The talent is a little off this year, but they have got the new additions spot on.

Hurrah for lateness...

Nu Vibe - 2/10 - well done for butchering one of my favourite songs ever <_< arrangement didn't work, their harmonies were dreadful and they just simply don't work as a group - the 5th eliminee's if there is any justice

Sami - 5/10 - dull, predictable song choice, on the performance, after a dodgy start it was pretty good, does she interest me at all? no, one of the least original contestants on the show

Craig - 6/10 - I'm really sick of that song and think it was a strange choice, but he sang it well enough, if obviously not a touch on last week

Janet - 8/10 - Obviously it wasn't as good as last week, but I personally really liked the arrangement and thought she sang it brilliantly, I still really want to see her do an upbeat song though

Frankie - 1/10 - sorry, did I say Nu Vibe ruined one of my all time favourites??? well they made it even better compared to this, HOW DARE YOU!! in Coldplay loon mode turned off, it was just uncomfortable, he, for me, is one of the worst singers left

Johnny - 6/10 - loved his 'Vogue!' a totally bizarre performance of course, but for the first few weeks, he's entertaining enough

Marcus - 6/10 - I hate that song and was a pretty tough song to take on, but that was a pretty solid performance, a lot better than last week

Rhythmix - 7/10 - the second performance from them I've enjoyed  whilst they seriously need some work on their vocals, I thought the performance as a whole was good!

Misha - 8/10 - I did like that a lot and I'm far from a fan of hers, maybe because she wasn't bogged down this time by singing a song I hate, vocally it wasn't as impressive, but it was still one of the best of the night

The Risk - 9/10 - now I'm far from a boyband fan here, but I'm really surprised just how good and classy this group is - the song choice wasn't exactly inspired, but I think this group have worked brilliantly together

Sophie - 7/10 - well thankfully she didn't murder one of my all time favourites like Nu Vibe and Frankie! I would be more impressed if it wasn't just basically a copy of Charlene's version, very solid, don't get me wrong, but nothing amazing

Kitty - 9/10 - Personally I really liked that, its nice to see something different from time to time and the production was great :D I agree with Gary's comment totally, I think she just really is bogged down by her lack of likeability

SO, rankings....

01. Kitty

02. The Risk

03. Misha

04. Janet

05. Rhythmix

06. Sophie

10. Sami

11. Nu Vibe

Gary and Kelly are amazing.

Misha B owned for the 2nd week in a row. Really hope she doesn't do a Laura and end up like 8th or something.
