The Risk - That was... ok. It was solid, nothing too special though, I preferred them last week.

The Silas Rate - Week 3

Marcus || 10 || My good god. Outstanding. Easily his best performance and finally something that really properly suits him.

Kitty || 10 || Another strong performance from Kitty there, Escala is an 11 and this just wasn't quite there.

Sophie || 09.5 || Brilliant rendition of my favourite Bon Jovi track. Loved it.

The Risk || 07 || I do like them, but this was poor for them.

Sami || 06 || Tragic song choice. Good vocals but just so dull. Worst performance by her for me.

Janet || 05 || Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Craig || 04 || DULL DULL DULL. And I usually like him.

Rythmix || 03 || Not in the slightest bit rock. Just don't like their vocals.

Frankie || Too dire to rate || ABYSMAL. Seriously awful vocals, what a bloody rape of a really great Primal Scream track.

The Risk - Awful performance and went nowhere. The guy on the far left looked totally confused and out of his element. 3.5/10

Kitty - 9/10

Sophie - 8.5/10

Craig - 7/10

Sami - 7/10

Great arrangement, shaky vocal but they still have a presence on stage that most manufactured X Factor groups never find so that's something. The one with the vocal infection is RUBBISH every week though!

Not as good as last week but I still think they're by far the best 'put-together' group. I wouldn't complain if they became the first group to win. And they might actually make the 'release first single at the start of next series' model work again.

And that WAS Gnarls Barkley, Liam :P

Rates 2011 (week 3)

9.0 Janet Devlin - Sweet Child O' Mine

8.5 Kitty Brucknell - Live And Let Die

7.0 The Risk - Crazy

7.0 Sami Brookes - If I Could Turn Back Time

6.5 Marcus Collins - Are You Gonna Go My Way

5.0 Sophie Habibis - Livin' On A Prayer

4.5 Craig Colton - Stop Crying Your Heart Out

4.0 Frankie Cocozza - Rocks

0.5 Rhythmix - TiK ToK / Push It

The Risk - Crazy

Firstly, I like the backing track - not that it means much which I'm judging the vocals. It's clear to see that The Risk are the best group here and I can see these lasting until the final 5 easily. Tonight's performance started promising but started to fall apart albeit only slightly towards the end. That final note was so much like the final note in 'Written In The Stars' by Tinie Tempah[/random]. 7/10

Kitty Brucknell = 10/10

Craig Coulton = 8/10

The Risk = 7/10

Janet Devlin = 7/10

Marcus Collins = 6/10

Sophie Abibis = 6/10

Sami Brooks = 5/10

Frankie Cocozza = 5/10

Rhythmix = 5/10

01 Kitty - f*** IT. I LOVE IT. 9.5/10

02 Janet - Okay, so the Diana Vickers / Ellie Goulding thing is gone. She's gone thoroughly down the Florence & The Machine route! Really enjoyed that. 8.5/10

03 Marcus - Oh, that was a great opener to the show! So energetic, yet it didn't lose tune. The performance in general. VERY impressed, because unlike most on here - I wasn't sold on the Russian Roulette or Moves Like Jagger performances. 8.5/10

04 Sophie - I really liked the whole atmospheric feel of it, as usual. She wasn't very good when she tried to up the notes though, which I'll penalise her for. Enjoyed it though! 8/10

05 The Risk - I'm getting pretty bored, and my comments are showing. As crap as he is - thank GOD Johnny is next. 6.5/10

06 Craig - It's slowly getting more and more... okay. Jar Of Hearts was superb, Best Thing I Never Had was okay, and this was okay too. Nothing else to say really. 6.5/10

07 Sami - She does have a good voice, she can sing almost every note in tune. But, is that gonna stop people thinking she's cruiseship/karaoke? Absolutely not, her weakest performance yet for me. 6/10

08 Rhythmix - I love Rhythmix, and I'm Like A Bird was my favourite performance of last week. But, this was vocally weak - a ridiculous song choice, and I'm disappointed. 5.5/10

09 Frankie - Shite. 0/10

Johnny Robinson - I Believe In A Thing Called Love

Whilst Johnny's vocals don't exactly appeal to me, he might as well be the joke act in this series. At least he can sing in tune, unlike Jedward and Wagner. His Kylie performance last week was better but this isn't that bad. 7/10

That really was a FAB SURPRISE.

Johnny - I enjoyed that, but a big of part of that enjoyment was probably just the fact that I like that song. The vocals were not that great at times, but boy did I enjoy that performance as a whole!

That was a lot more enjoyable than last week but I still think he's massively overrated and still the worst 'joke act' so far. Needs to be out soon-ish but they need to weed out a few others first I guess.

Johnny - Johnny makes me smile, he's the only contestant that just makes me beam when I'm watching him perform. So I'm going to have to be really honest and give him... 8/10

If there was to be another "joke act" to do a Jedward and achieve large success I'd want it to be Johnny.

I see everyone agrees that it should be a Frankie/Rythmix bottom 2 tomorow night
