I don't think it's too unfair because if whoever gets another chance, if they aren't popular enough they won't win - if they are they will :) Surely if they are the public's favourite, then it shows that they deserve to be there and that the judges made a mistake :)

I'm really hoping that it's Amelia who gets back in as a result of this is, because if it's Jonjo I'll be depressed, James was alright, but not THAT exciting, and 2 Shoes should only go so far.

 

Hopefully the fact that it's being announced on the internet will stave off a lot of 'Let's vote a soldier back in'. I hope. And I imagine voting for this will be much less than normal phone voting.

 

Whoever it is should only get a few more weeks on, though. They won't have built up a wider TV fanbase, and it would be unfair for them to get really far after skipping the (quite brutal) first 4 weeks of public vote.

Of all the possible outcomes of Frankie going, this is actually the one I thought they'd never go with. Because really it is far too late to re-introduce a contestant. If this was week 3 it'd be fine but they'll have missed a hefty majority of the competition.

 

I am very excited at the prospect of seeing 2 Shoes again. In reality I expect Amelia will win out of the four, the two boys were extremely dull, and I remain convinced that if Jonjo stayed there would be some campaign from The Sun for him to win on the basis of him being a soldier.

 

Really they could have just gone with two contestants in the final. Ah well.

I'd rather they brought Jonny back into the contest, that would be the most logical thing to do. Not particularly happy with the decision they've made, I suppose Amelia would be the best one to bring back, but the contest would be a total farce if she won :(

I wonder how much (and this is just wondering mind) how much Frankie was paid for his part in the farce. I mean - they'd really have to make it worth his while the amount of public hatred and ridicule he's been subjected to. I'm even beginning to doubt that that is his real name! Even his name now sounds convenient.

Garys act was the only effected by frankie going, Why should a other judge get a extra act because of it? :\ so stupid!

To be honest, Gary shouldn't have picked him in the first place (or allow the producers to do so) - I'm just happy that Amelia gets another shot. I wouldn't mind James or 2 Shoes - but if the public have any sense it will be Amelia!

As much as I hated the idea of 4 live show acts being booted in the first week without a public vote and as much as I championed Amelia to win, I don't want this to happen. It's so stupid and totally unfair on everyone already gone in between and the remaining contestants. How could all of this not have been planned previously?

that's actually quite interesting! amelia will be back for sure, the other three (well, maybe 2 shoes but I'm doubtful) haven't got as many fans as her. it'd be ace to see her back too, I quite enjoyed her.
