November 8, 201114 yr I am wondering who is still buying those Susan Boyle album. :/ What a great top 3 it would be with Florence + The Wanted + Cher, but yet Susan has to sneak into it. On the singles front, I do hope Rihanna takes the top spot back, hopefully the gab isn't too big to overtake.
November 8, 201114 yr Even though I said "oops" MX was destined to start at No. 5 in midweeks. It'd be nice to know how far ahead the top 4 are. Also nice to know, that Susan B has released just two albums... Edited November 8, 201114 yr by SKOB
November 8, 201114 yr Some great typos in that... What Do You Take For Me  And Theo Gilmore :heehee:

November 8, 201114 yr I assume SKOB was wondering how far Coldplay are behind the top-4. :P But we don't know the info about that. If they're not FAR behind I can see them overtaking Cher and maybe Wanted and even maybe SuBo by Sunday.
November 8, 201114 yr Adele starts out of the top 10, 21 and + seem interchangeable in recent weeks. I'm sure it'll probably sneak back in, close race for number one, imagine it's between Florence and Susan and the Wanted and Cher will fall away, hopefully Coldplay looking for another 40-50k.

November 8, 201114 yr Coldplay aren't holding that well at all really.. Compared to their previous albums
November 8, 201114 yr Top 40 Only Singles 1 JLS [5k ahead] 2 Rihanna/Calvin Harris My guess was spot on!! :)
November 8, 201114 yr Cher at #4 on the albums chart is pretty impressive - especially as the only albums beating it are huge and popular artists. I see it debuting at around #6/7 come Sunday though - Coldplay will no doubt overtake. The Wanted may end up with another #4 album too - if it's only #3 in the first update, it'll never get #1 and Coldplay are likely to sell more later in the week. Singles chart, I wasn't expecting to see JLS appear at #1 at all - hopefully Rihanna can overtake by tomorrow.
November 8, 201114 yr Hopefully The Wanted and Cher Lloyd are frontloaded and Coldplay can still end up back in the Top 3 by the end of the week
November 8, 201114 yr OK... I think JLS will be #1 in the singles, with around 5,000 sales more than Rihanna at #2 (down to pre-orders and physicals) Very good predicting :o ;) Flo Rida?! LOL Flo-rence + the Machine
November 8, 201114 yr A 5k gap is not a lost cause for Rihanna. :cheer: Cher started with a 1k lead last week (or was it 2k?), and by the end of the week she was 10k behind number 1.

November 8, 201114 yr Surprised to see The Wanted ahead of Cher and expect that may change by Sunday, there's a lot of one week only offers for Cher which should help it above The Wanted. It's the Amazon Mp3 of the week, £6.99 at HMV for one week only, £6.99 on Itunes, £6.99 on Amazon, £7.99 on Play.com etc not sure about supermarkets but would have thought that's got to help. Didn't expect it to be that close on the albums, wonder what kind of figures were talking?
November 8, 201114 yr I tought Pixie would do better.. I find her new single far better than All About Tonight and that was number one..
November 8, 201114 yr Very pleased with Cher Lloyd's placing at the moment! (I was expecting around #7/8) I am expecting it to fall throughout the week though. Coldplay will almost certainly overtake I reckon, with Michael Bublé probably overtaking also. Any lower than #8 and I will be disappointed!
November 8, 201114 yr The standard of these Music Week reports appalls me every week. There are so many mistakes, every time. Do those of you who subscribe to it ever complain to them? Some of the mistakes above have been pointed out already, but here's another one: "Ed Sheeran release Lego House up 46% to move it 7-6" A quick glance at the chart would tell them that it's #6 ALREADY, so it's not moving anywhere. Music Week's writers are idiots.
November 8, 201114 yr Would be funny if WFL overtook JLS by the end of the week. They must be frontloaded.
November 8, 201114 yr Album chart becoming hectic now which is great. Edited November 8, 201114 yr by pippa
