I'd like to think that Loreen's Sober or Sheelah's The Last Time (i.e. the two highest scoring entries of the year in percentage terms) should make some sort of impact in TBO but it does tend to be the more indie voters that reliably vote in TBO whilst a lot of the pop voters snub it for some reason, hence we ended up with a pretty odd top two last year iirc (Get Far feat H-Boogie vs. Katie Melua? Although the wrong winner was announced iirc...). I wouldn't be surprised if none of the winners triumph in TBO.

Lana will either win this by a landslide as everybody suddenly decided to like it now it's a hit or flop miserably.

I think you should all snub Lana (CHEAAAAP :kink:) and Agnes Obel, and vote for Misty Miller and Destinee & Paris to be the top 2 finishers. Thank you very much :drink:

Yeah, I was trying to keep in mind that TBO needs to run it's course yet, hence why I've put down to start as early as Saturday. :)

Oh this Saturday it starts and I'm away in Dublin :(

Yeah because we've only had 2 winners this year.

Now I wasn't suggesting that these would be the only two possible winners of TBO. I'll be interested in which one places higher seeing as they are similar(-ish) in style.

They are also my two favourite entries in BJSC this year.

I can't find ANYTHING :( Still got a couple of days though luckily! As for TBO, I highly doubt I'll be in that, maybe Alex Young and Oh My! could pick up some of the new pop voters who listen back but having both finished 8th I highly doubt it.

Hopefully Aura Dione and Ti Amo will do well, but I'm secretly hoping for one of my less-successful entries to do well in TBO. Sjus or We Love would be great! :D

 

Agnes vs. Lana will certainly be interesting, but I reckon Agnes will come out on top as Video Games has gone on to be a hit since the contest, but Riverside is still solely associated with BJSC.

I think the only tracks that would do well are those placed Top 3 in the contests, although I secretly wish my IU track would be there :D

For the first time since.... ever I have something where there's a slight chance I may not be able to send it.

I've actually got an entry in mind this time and it's quite poppy - so much so that I'm struggling to believe that it's never been mentioned and am thinking it's probably something that everyone else may already know?!!! It wouldn't pick up any points from me but I'm struggling like mad this month and don't want to sit the final contest of the year out.

 

It reminds me of about 3 other songs though so I may not end up entering it...

About The Best Of... Contest, is it practically the usual contest but with songs from this year? If so how many tracks can be entered, how many would be present overall and is the voting system the same? Or is it one country per TBO entry?
