I just can't understant why Amelia was bottom 2. I agree it wasn't her best performance but there was a lot worse.

The public voted to bring her back yet they didn't vote - confusing or what! Unless everyone thought she was safe.

Really disagree with this, it's disappointing me that Misha is starting to do this sort of stuff - I loved things like Rolling In The Deep and Tainted Love where she did something a bit different, they were very unique, but very Misha.

 

I'm glad she's doing different stuff because you get slated if you don't, but I don't want her to stick to typical 'big voice ballads' - she's better and more unique than that.

I think it's pretty much confirmed as Motown. So Marcus and Misha will shine then, Little Mix could have another moment with something like Who's Loving You. Janet and Amelia may struggle....

I actually think Amelia will struggle most :( Marcus is in his element, Misha will do well, I'm sure Little Mix can do something by The Supremes or something and I can think of a couple of songs maybe for Janet but Amelia didn't do brilliantly with Think (I loved it but evidently it wasn't enough) - which is a similar style to what she'll be taking on...

One would assume yes. I love motown but 2 songs each would not showcase much variety.

if they get to do a personal choice round (presuming they're all going to be singing twice) then I think she will. I recall on twitter that she said that she likes florence and the machine, which immediately made me think what an amazing 'dog days are over' performance she could do. :wub:

I don't think that she's been given a song yet which could showcase how powerful her voice is. most of them have been pretty softcore, apart from 'sweet child of mine' which doesn't count as it was stripped back.

Except she doesn't have a powerful voice? It just keeps building up and the moment you just have to hit the high note it slips and does the Vickers.

Her voice doesn't have the power, I believe that's why her Somebody To Love was so dull - because she simply couldn't hit the notes required.

 

I'm not hating though, because within her range she is great. By cool indie song however, I was thinking something like Islands by The xx. I also think she'd make a good go of Little Lion Man by Mumford & Sons.

Janet's had the first audition, boot camp, judges houses and about 7 live shows. If she hasn't showcased the power of her voice yet, I don't think she will. i hope she does perform a Florence track because it would be so horrendous no one would vote for her.

She can have Mumford and Sons, but please not Islands
