It won't matter much. Call them the Saturdays or Little Mix, its the same songs. These bands need to be lucky enough to get good songs. That ballad from the Sats is shockingly bad but so were the ballads from Girls Aloud. Life Got Cold, I'll Stand by You and See the day are not the Girls' finest moments. Little Mix will get the same rubbish.

Life Got Cold is amazing. Not all ballads are rubbish you know.

Did Jay-Z say 'ooh I gotta pee'?

On first listen this isn't that good :( You Da One is certainly a lot better anyway IMO.

I think so. :drama: He has a lot of strange lines.

I love Talk That Talk so much. Although, as I said before, it has a similar instrumental to Black and Yellow by Wiz Khalifa, so that probably plays a factor in me liking Talk That Talk so much.

Video Games. This song is so nice.

Not THAT keen on that one myself. I'll Stand By You is a fucking classic though.

I'm loving Drunk On Love and Where Have You Been most on her new album (and ofcourse WFL which never gets old!) :D

Round the other way for me - Stand By me is ok, but just a pumped up cover. Life Got Cold is better for me as it is an original song - plus it was chosen by fans to be the single :o

This takes me back - fantastic song. I remember it being in the charts so well in '97

Was it? Don't remember that.

Anyway THIS is a f***ing classic.

Not at all. The Spice Girls got great ballads. The great ballads in the charts today, Adele obviously, Lana Del Ray 'Video Games' , Charlene Soraia 'Wherever you will go' -Its a cover so does it count? and Christina Perri (A Thousand Years)

Amazing song and Little Mix performed it SO WELL, probably the best perf so far this year. Really good to hear it in the charts

I just happen to love Life Got Cold ^_^

Woo! Definitely a song I never expected to see back in the top 40, it was randomly assigned to me as Music GCSE coursework when I was at school, I had to remake the track myself - melody, chords, bass, drums with the aid of a keyboard attached to a computer and then add my vocals at the end. Safe to say I know the song inside out, the thing took me WEEKS to do as it's surprisingly complex and layered. Some lucky sods got piano ballads assigned to them, hardly fair!

Me too. I used to loved this back then and it hasn't aged that badly.

I wish we had songs like this in the chart.

Well, hopefully Love On Top by Beyonce could get in the top 40 next week. That's kind of close to this.

err...I didn't know this before Little Mix performed it  its quite good though, it seems a lot less dramatic than their performance
