November 27, 201114 yr I thought this would at least climb :(, I hope it at least re-peaks after the video release, she better hurry up with it though.
November 27, 201114 yr They also performed it on Children in Need last Friday night. And it's on Now! 80 :P

November 27, 201114 yr I don't know why people are worrying about Marry the Night. It's doing better in the UK than any other country.
November 27, 201114 yr Oh dear at GAGA. :o The Born this Way era hasn't really worked for her in the UK. If she'd have brought out Marry the Night after Born this Way it would have done a lot better. Its the second best song on a disappointing album. I hope she returns to her fun electro party pop roots. But then, I hardly understand her anyway. Monster was better than Alejandro but she released that to radio instead. Edited November 27, 201114 yr by Paramore
November 27, 201114 yr Again surprised to see LMFAO so low - I guess multiple versions of songs are pushing them ahead of LMFAO/Gaga. Possibly from Now! 80 and whatnot. This is top 10 again on iTunes anyhow so could possibly challenge for a return there officially next week.

November 27, 201114 yr A 13 place fall in the second week is very poor. This will probably stuggle to make 150k.
November 27, 201114 yr The Born this Way era hasn't really worked for her in the UK. If she'd have brought out Marry the Night after Born this Way it would have done a lot better. Its the second best song on a disappointing album. I hope she returns to her fun electro party pop roots. But then, I hardly understand her anyway. Monster was better than Alejandro but she released that to radio instead. No way was Monster better than Alejandro imo. And I vividly remember most of her fans begging her to release Alejandro at the time. They were all like "Oh, it'll be perfect for the summer", "It'll do so well on radio", etc.
November 27, 201114 yr I love 'Gotta Be You'. I don't know why everyone says it's generic, it seems quite fresh and unique to me with the falsetto chorus.
November 27, 201114 yr 3-16  great to see all these boybands can't just walk straight to number 1 with any old shite and a stick in the face to XF :D
November 27, 201114 yr No way was Monster better than Alejandro imo. And I vividly remember most of her fans begging her to release Alejandro at the time. They were all like "Oh, it'll be perfect for the summer", "It'll do so well on radio", etc. I think both Alejandro and Dance In The Dark could've been smashes. I think she should have made DITD the fourth single though. Monster was good but not compared to those two. After Bad Romance and Telephone, I'd have to say I think Alejandro would've been the best choice. But we'll never know!
November 27, 201114 yr  Well I guess this is the reason why Syco put 1D on the X Factor charity single. The censored version to the video for 'Sexy and I Know It' is terrifying. The uncensored version is probably worse.
November 27, 201114 yr Guess so - they are both good examples of fan based buying anything tbh. Both had great songs though of course which did cross over (Flying Without Wings, You Raise me Up, World Of Our OWn etc in Westlifes case) GD has a point but they are still a typical Louis Walsh creation all about chart peak and most of their songs are not written by them. In saying that pity my favourite by them 'When your looking like that' isnt on the GHs!
November 27, 201114 yr All the boybands are underperforming massively with their last singles: Lightning, Gotta Be You and Take A Chance On Me are all doing so poorly, expecially after all following massive #1's.
November 27, 201114 yr Shocked at the 13-place drop for One Direction - I was expecting #12/13 at the minimum. Shame, I actually really like the track. Not enough to buy it, but it's definitely an improvement on 'What Makes You Beautiful'. With a number-two album - they best hope single #3 does better; JLS were doing significantly better by this point in their career.
