November 27, 201114 yr I think both Alejandro and Dance In The Dark could've been smashes. I think she should have made DITD the fourth single though. Monster was good but not compared to those two. After Bad Romance and Telephone, I'd have to say I think Alejandro would've been the best choice. But we'll never know! Well, Dance in the Dark got released as the 4th single in Australia, and peaked at #24, and Monster got released as the 4th single in New Zealand, and peaked at #29. I don't know why she didn't release a 4th single worldwide tbh. However, I'm very glad she didn't, since it was great to have a short break from her (although Alejandro was still on the radio constantly into the Winter :drama:).

If things carry on the way they're going Earthquake is going to massively outsell this (it could be top 5 for a fifth week and quite possibly a sixth next week while this is already out of the top 10).

Nope :P Coldplay aren't realistically going to be any higher than #11, it's really frustrating to see it peaking there but to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if it would have peaked at #11 anyway had it been chart eligible for its first 6 weeks. It's fantastic to see it still having such longevity. Jar Of Hearts is having fantastic longevity as well - I wonder if this can make 20 weeks top 20? Wouldn't match Ed Sheeran's feat as he did it from the start of his chart run but it'd be very impressive nonetheless. Edited November 27, 201114 yr by Bré
November 27, 201114 yr It was only ever going to be Drake or Coldplay who got that one week in the T10 really - with Emeli Sande and X-Factor Finalist charting this week, I don't see either charting in the T10 this time next week. For Drake especially, a T10 position was vital - it's not been selected as the next single, so will begin to drop in the next few weeks; especially with the lack of music video (although if airplay picks up...). To me, 'Paradise' sounds like a #1 single - so a #11 peak isn't too unjust, but I think a T10 peak would've been more realistic of the positive reception it received from fans.
