Labrinth and Avicii back-to-back just shows how great music production-wise has been this year - add 'We Found Love' to the mix and there are my three favourite pieces of production this year.

It's absolutely fantastic to see a song like this doing so well in 2011. We can pretty much call it an instrumental (there's a very small vocal section (albeit arguably the entire reason it's been a hit )) and we haven't had such a big instrumental hit for years!

And after Seek Bromance only made #13 I really never expected Tim Berg to go on to have two top 5 hits (under a different name but it's the same person).

Levels at #4! :D It is quite honestly the best instrumental I've heard for a while. (although it's not a pure one obvs.)

Flo's probably going be straight after this!

Good to see a Swedish act in the top five! :D Although both Levels and Good Feeling are only 'quite good' for me.
Fade Into Darkness wasnt a UK single? Its been absolutely huge over here.

It was, it just bombed. 'Collide' has the same instrumental.

They've done one every year since like 2005 haven't they? I hope we hear some proper new material from them very soon, it's been far too long since 'Day & Age' :(

Yeah they should be back next year - they are releasing an 5 single EP with all their xmas songs - That Big Sled, Better Joseph, Boots, Dont shoot me Santa and the others which i cant remember!

All the money goes to World Aids Day as usual!

(25) Rihanna-Talk That Talk

This tune is reunion of the duet that resulted in "Umbrella" in 2007 which was #1 for 10 weeks. This don't sound like it a chance to a spend 1 week at #1.

We can all compare and contrast now - Avicci = amazing, Flo Rida = OK

Seek Bromance and My Feelings for you are great songs, naturally they didn't chart as well. :P

2006: A Great Big Sled

2007: Don't Shoot Me Santa

2008: Joseph, Better You Than Me

2009: Happy Birthday Guadeloupe

2010: Boots

:D

One of the Music Week reports revealed it.

It sold 27,277 copies on its first elligible charting week (#14)

The report then revealed its total at that point to be: 145,824

145,824 - 27,277 = 118,547 copies sold in its six weeks of non-charting.

Does anyone know if these sales will count when calculating Paradise's total sales, should they sell enough to - say - make the year-end top 100?

Thats what i hate about Reggie presenting the chart any other presenter from the past would have told the audience Aviici has had top 40 hits as Tim Berg, but he prob doesnt even know! :(

Refering to Reggie's comment that Rebecca loves Avicii's 'Levels'

She doesn't love Rihanna though does she? Really don't get what that is about

People *are* allowed to dislike Rihanna you know........

Regardless of that, Rebecca's comments have been completely taken out of context. She never referred to Rihanna's music. She just didn't think Rihanna was a very good role model for young girls. And I agree with her.

If you're in BJSC, the semi results have started if you're interested :kink:
