Shayne trounced Alexandra, he did 742k in week one while her and Leona did less than 580k. I think this will probably scrape 400k but hold to 250k next week.

Whos Shayne?

I hope Little Mix have good first week sales, it is all about that with Syco. The recorded version is very good but Cannonball is such a tedious song. Not sure why they did not do something as good as Dont Let Go.

Little Mix - Cannonball 1.0000

Coldplay - Paradise 0.3791

They keep on increasing they're lead! They're selling 3 to 1 aren't they? (If you take into acount they're Number 1 on Amazon & HMV & No.3 Play.com)

Whos Shayne?

Is this a serious question?

Shayne Ward ;)

At least Coldplay will stop it from being a X Factor Acts Top3 come Sunday

Despite the price reduction specifically coming ahead of their X Factor performance and them getting a massive boost from the X Factor?

YAY FOR VICTORY OVER THE FIX FACTOR'S DOMINATION then I suppose :)

It really makes all the others look like they're barely selling anything. :P

Does anyone know when Little Mix's video will be out?

Well having both Damien Rice's "Cannonball" and Johnny Cash's (yes, originally Nine Inch Nails) "Hurt" in a Christmas Top 3 would be amazing. Sadly we have two rather weak/bland covers, but its a start I suppose.
It's now 16:00, and Paradise is 0.3455, Hurt is 0.1872, DWMT is at 0.1385 (Cannonball at 1.0000 ofc :P) Great to see them have a massive lead, it's gotta sell at least 350k, with Coldplay doing more than WMN did last year, possibly 120k?

Were people expecting Little Mix to do anything BUT have a massive lead at #1? If anything I think they're underperforming - someone said if the #30 is less than 3% at 4pm they're outselling Matt. #30 is 4.2% now. I don't think this will outsell Matt on week 1 or overall. But then I expected them to underperform as everything to do with XF has underperformed this year.

I'm not being purposely negative for the record. This is probably my favourite winner's single ever.

She is yeah, she cleared well over 300k in her second week and is on about 1.2 million now. I can't see Little Mix going over a million, they weren't particularly emphatic winners (48% compared to 42% for Marcus) and viewing figures were lower this year than last. Put simply, if Matt Cardle is limping towards 1,000,000 then I can't see them doing better.

58% I assume? :P

Lloyd is now up to #8 so if the top version of this goes top 10 they'll be knocking out Avicii instead (or Rihanna if Avicii starts climbing again). I don't think it will go top 10 now though. Maybe top 15.

Probably heading for top 30 again this week then. Can Little Mix release their version of this? It's far better than this DULL original [/unpopularopinion] .

 2. Paradise - Coldplay

 48. Christmas Lights - Coldplay

 65. Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall - Coldplay

 69. Viva la Vida - Coldplay

 88. Yellow - Coldplay

Charlie Brown should have at least top 100 in the bag, hopefully it can keep climbing and still go top 40. Would be brilliant if Christmas Lights can go top 40 again this year. Paradise nearly selling double Leona and she's starting to fall now according to Kworb.

 71. Superbad - Doctor P & Flux Pavilion

Good to see this not TOTALLY flopping any more. Hopefully it'll still go top 40, it'd be a bit pathetic to only have the 2 new entries in the top 3 and no others in the top 40.

 85. Forgiveness - Wretch 32

Must be one of the worst single choices ever made by anyone.

But that is assuming the #30 is selling the same this week as last year, but what we know is sales are up year on year, in the lower ends of the charts especially, so that might not be as accurate an indicator as it seems.

Take that up with the person who originally said that comment, not me.

(You didn't need to quote my entire post to reply to that small part of it you know :P)

Wasn't the last time a girl group were number 1 about 3 years ago? Girls Aloud - The Promise?
Officially, yes. iTunes, No. The Saturdays got there with 'All Fired Up' :P

Nope 48%, the remaining percentages were from amelia lily's votes before the freeze.

Keep climbing christmas lights, would love if this went top 40 this year again, def will be a christmas classic!

Look at it this way - the more they sell this week, the less likely they'll be Xmas #1 the week after... :P

Is there an Itunes pre-orders singles chart? Interested to see how the Military Wives Choir are doing, apparently they've broken all pre-orders records at Amazon

Heading to iTunes now to make my Little Mix purchase. :D

(I really hope they stick to their pop/urban sound and don't return next year with "sexy" makeovers and singing about clubs :()

I can't see it been much less next week, their physicals are from Wednesday this week = 4 days

Next week Physicals full week = 7 days

So how are they going to sell less  , maybe 100 - 150k short in its second week, but it should still sustain heavy sales but not as much as first week sales.

I can't see the Military Wives touching the top spot with a barge pole next week, I think other singles will fare better on downloads, as kids/teenagers are not going to download a choir track.
