How come Military Wives have pulled away from Little Mix again? LM got to 66%, but now it's back down to 52% :(

The early hours of tomorrow morning will be interesting as the sales that got Military Wives' choir to number 1 straight away will be gone from the itunes chart.

 

I thought that at first, but it won't see any drastic happen, because the chart is weighted. So the pre-order sales are gradually being taken from the pop bar all the time (which is why Military Wives started falling almost straight away).

Surely 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' IS a classic though? That said, I agree that there's no point in this campaign anymore, as the XF single most definitely won't be an X-Mas #1. I'd love to see SLTS re-peaking though, just not in a Christmas week.

 

'Dominic the Donkey' is arguably the classic too. How many songs from the 60s do you know that have about 3 million views on YouTube? Not too many, I suppose.

 

But the chart is a joke right now. Good joke though, it's really fun and unpredictable. :lol:

Kind of a typo, I meant Christmas classics :P Of course SLTS is a classic, just within it's genre and not Christmas.

It was never intended to be released. It was only release because of public demand

Oh was it not? :o But still, they should have just put it on iTunes when it was getting aired. They should know that a song featured in an advert is bound to create some sort of demand, so they should have just let it become available and for people to download it when they wanted. :lol:
