January 1, 201214 yr STFTTR - at least it is doing as well as it deserves in the USA. All I want is a top 10 peak for this here :( Couldn't agree more. I remember it went to #10 on iTunes for 1hour and thne dropped out of the top 10 due to new releases, such a shame and it's criminal this song missed the top 10.
January 1, 201214 yr Oh yeah, a unfinished Demo track that destroyed Leona Lewis - Collide. I guess the public speak for me. 1. You're assuming quality = sales when it REALLY doesn't 2. "Collide" is a massive pile of w*** anyway

January 1, 201214 yr If it gets to #1 in the Hot 100, gets a video and is performed at the BRITS next month, it could do it! Set Fire to the Rain could very well get to #1 in the US, since it already got to #2 on US iTunes. It's fallen back down a bit now though, because Party Rock Anthem, is back to #2! I'm actually speechless at that. #2 on iTunes, on its 28th week in the top 10.
January 1, 201214 yr If it gets to #1 in the Hot 100, gets a video and is performed at the BRITS next month, it could do it! I hope she releases a video soon. I think Turning Tables will be performed at the Brits. It would be amazing if she performed Set Fire To The Rain at the brits and made the single 59p, It would destroy the charts. It's funny to think songs that got to number one haven't managed to sell over 200,000 yet SFTTR Has sold over 500,000 and will pass 600,000.
January 1, 201214 yr btw just for the record...on Guetta's chart history it says that Little Bad Girl got to No. 6 when it got to No. 4 :)

January 1, 201214 yr I can't see any way that Set Fire To The Rain would ever make the UK top ten now, it's 'spent' almost half a million sales and almost four million people own it on 21, another 1+ million on Now 80. A shame but she missed the chance by not giving it a video earlier!
January 1, 201214 yr Oh yeah, a unfinished Demo track that destroyed Leona Lewis - Collide. I guess the public speak for me. Given the ridiculous amount of radio airplay and video airplay Pixie got, it would have been embarrassing if it didn't get to #1. 'Collide' wasn't one of Leona's best moments but I'm just glad she's had many other great moments unlike her 'Collide' competitors. Note to Lee: don't try to antagonise fans of other artists. ;)
January 1, 201214 yr The chorus kinda reminds me of Coldplay for some reason. I hope Titanium doesn't underperform because this dirge got released first!

Obviously the radio know which single is better. ^_^

January 1, 201214 yr YES, so good to see this climbing despitte (well, I suppose also because of) the gift card effect
January 1, 201214 yr I am glad this didn't do very well, its too Bruno Mars by numbers. I love his more fun stuff like 'Runaway Baby', 'Liquor Store Blues' and 'The Other Side'.

You're not the only one that thinks that some of David Guetta's recent music sounds like Coldplay: http://www.allmusic.com/album/nothing-but-...r2262362/review Jennifer Hudson guests on the cut “Night of Your Life,” making it the diva uplift track you’d expect from such a title, and Sia’s “Titanium” is a decent stab at Coldplay-for-the-house-music set.
