January 1, 201214 yr Author Here's a question - what was the last million selling single to be snubbed by Radio 1? Bob The Builder - Can We Fix It? Anything more recent than that? Most X factor winners songs surely (That's My Goal and Hallelujah?)
January 1, 201214 yr That would have been a DISASTER if Maroon 5 kept this out of the top 10. My favourite song in the top 40 currently (yes, ahead of Paradise)
January 1, 201214 yr Most X factor winners songs surely (That's My Goal and Hallelujah?) All were C-listed at least weren't they?
January 1, 201214 yr Here's a question - what was the last million selling single to be snubbed by Radio 1? Bob The Builder - Can We Fix It? Anything more recent than that? given that a lot of the million sellers of the last decade were charity/X Factor winners songs, so I'd guess Hallelujah, they're not her biggest fans  or maybe Will Young/Gareth Gates? Mama Do The Hump :cheer:  Edited January 1, 201214 yr by C.W
January 1, 201214 yr It deserves to absolutely rip BEPs record to shreds. I absolutely detest IGF. Such an unworthy million-seller imo. I kind of agree, in the sense that I think there's many other BEP songs which deserved to be a million-seller more than I Gotta Feeling. I reckon Moves Like Jagger will outsell I Gotta Feeling overall though. Maybe even Someone Like You aswell! :o
January 1, 201214 yr I am hoping this will go top 5 next week, I have really grown to love it, however I still think that DWTT was slightly better, so its a shame that it will beat its peak, but I want it to beat WIWAY peak, as that was awful compared to this and DWTT
January 1, 201214 yr It deserves to absolutely rip BEPs record to shreds. I absolutely detest IGF. Such an unworthy million-seller imo. I have to agree, I've never liked it. For "Moves Like Jagger" to beat it in a far faster-moving chart (without ever going to #1 as well) would be nothing short of sublime.
January 1, 201214 yr Oh dear at this pile of poo stopping MLJ returning to the top 10. :D I see we're in total agreement here.
January 1, 201214 yr MAMA DO THE HUMP :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: Heard this loads in Brighton yesterday :D I might be wrong, but I read somewhere that Rizzle Kicks are from Brighton. Which might explain why.

January 1, 201214 yr Didn't really want to see 'Moves Like Jagger' back in the top 10 - it already managed 16 weeks, which makes it the longest-running top 10 single of 2011 - another week wouldn't really make any difference. However, it's #10 and #18 on iTunes again, so unless JLS or Taio Cruz can kick it out, or Little Mix somehow manage to cling on, it looks likely to re-enter on January 8 for a 17th week (out of 21 weeks release).
January 1, 201214 yr It deserves to absolutely rip BEPs record to shreds. I absolutely detest IGF. Such an unworthy million-seller imo. Me too. I don't think they have done anything good since Where Is The Love and even that is tainted by all the rubbish that came after.
January 1, 201214 yr :D I see we're in total agreement here. It'd keep me up at night knowing we viewed these things the same  And LMFAO are higher too? OH DEAR UK.

I reckon Moves Like Jagger will outsell I Gotta Feeling overall though. Maybe even Someone Like You aswell! :o Out of all of the BEP singles - I'd say 'Shut Up', 'Boom Boom Pow' or 'Pump It' (or 'My Humps' :P) deserved million-seller status the most. But none of them are really obvious million-seller type songs. I'd have included 'Meet Me Halfway' but my wounds are still raw from when they beat 'Happy' to #1. :drama::P
