LOL, it's so sad that Lana isn't going to be number 1 this week. Twilight... another dull song.

I love all three big releases this week, but Twilight is, strangely, my favourite, so good start for it. I think Wild Ones is going to have a much slower climb though, because of being available yesterday. Hopefully all 3 will be top 10 by the end of the week (and stay there for a good long time)

 

Redlight is surprisingly quite a good song, so if it ends up top 40 I'll be pleased.

I doubt that many people realise Flo has been released yet, although his songs usually have a late start at properly taking off so it's only the norm for this to go the same way, really. I hope it manages to climb to it's peak, a feat which Flo seems to be good at doing! Amazing for Cover Drive :o Genuinely stunned at it seemingly thrashing it's rivals this week, although I'm still expecting Lana to climb pretty rapidly some time soon.

Having decided to listen to all of these objectively here's my thoughts....

 

Lana Del Ray- It's no "Video Games" which was amazing, but it is still pretty darn good- Well done Lana

Flo Rida- Bless Rida making the same record since 2009- OK but won't convert any new fans

Redlight- This is like some kind of homage to So Solid Crew- There should be more of that- but not from Redlight.

Cover Drive- A quick google search indicates there are approx 1,467 records released every week that sound just like this. interesting. I thought N-Dubz had split but here they are having recruited a faux Rihanna.
